InterContinental Grand Ho Tram

Our goal was to visit Ho Chi Minh only, but took this 3 hrs free shuttle bus trip due to request from our kids to enjoy the beach. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and a definite 5 star hotel. Everything from the cleanliness of the resort, the design, the decor, the size of the room/ bathroom, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Type and quantity of pool is great - although the resort was crowded you can always find a comfortable spot to rest on. Only downside is the F&B availability, which is very inflated price. There is no shuttle bus provided to the downtown which is 3 KM away with few other affordable restaurants and couple of small convenience store. So there is not much activity around besides the beach. The beach itself was clean due to constant cleaning, but rubbish floating around in sea. We were not comfortable swimming there. The kids helped the cleaner to collect at least a bag full of rubbish from the water.

We are very please with our journey at this hotel & resort. Our family has enjoyed the facilities at this resort (Pool Bar, Liquor shops, bowling, etc.). They evan have a movies theater but we didn't try it. We went to a local fish market (750m from hotel) to have fresh seafoods. It was cheap and excellent.

Oh I really love this hotel who ever manages it does perfect job!We were upgraded from grand golf view room to grand corner view which was the most amazing view that you could ever get!:)Service absolutely 5* very professional.Super friendly staff.We loved the ginger restaurant which served Vietnamese delicious food.Buffet breakfast had so much choice that you could wish for!Location was nice as for me as there isn’t much around.Lots of new 5* resorts going to be build within a year or 2!The beach is nice and cleaned every day.New Years Eve party was fun with cool DJ and pole dancers!I would def recommend the hotel for either couples or families.

Well maintained resort with plenty facilities however not much people during the stay. Good for family and vacation, casino is fun too.

We stayed 6nights. Upon arrival, service from bellman to checking in was a breeze. Because it was the Christmas/New Year season, they had kids entertainment in the lobby, which my children absolutely loved (especially after a 22 hour flight and then a 2 hour drive from HCM airport to the Grand. But it was all totally worth it in the end. Our ocean view was just beyond amazing from the 11th floor. Not too high up but just perfect! Service was great, buffet breafast was so good, no complaints at all and a lot of variety of restaurants too. We found Nam Nam and the Grand Cafe quite affordable for families, even room service too. Kids fave was the slide, pools, the beach. Always something to do, my husband loves basketball so he was so happy they had a half court here plus more (they have movie cinema, karaoke, night club, water fountains every night) we didnt have time to check out casino. It met our expectations over and beyond. Cant wait to return, would definitely recommend to anyone, families, couples.

Great venue for a getaway. Commendable staff that went above and beyond to accommodate special requests (e.g. vegetarian food options; doctor to check on injured child to cite two examples!) Tip: plan ahead and book their popular free shuttle to/from HCMC (we discovered this option too late and booked private transport)
