Holiday Inn Express & Suites Eau Claire North, an IHG Hotel

A nice hotel with decent proximity to many things. Super comfortable bed and room (king suite) and a fantastic shower. Breakfaat was very good - first morning we had canadian bacon, tater tots, scrambled eggs and second morning we had sausage patties, cheese and western omlette. In addition we had cinnamon rolls, oatmeal (packets), cereal, pancakes, and toast/bagels/muffins, yogurt, etc. Well worth the value in my opinion. Very busy hotel with LOTS of young baseball players and families - so not exactly quiet (except when they were playing). Be patient with the elevator cause there is only one and is used by staff and guests....

I was charged more at check-in than I was quoted on Travelocity when I booked the hotel weeks ago. I also booked listing 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids). I thought that would come with a pullout sofa. We stayed at the same chain two days ago and booked the same and got a sofa. That may have been on me not paying enough attention when booking, but now we have a 16, 14, & 9 year old all trying to share one queen bed. Other than those two things, room is clean and very nice.

This was a great stay for the kiddos! The pool was clean and tidy & the room was as well. It was a well built hotel because we had a room right next to the pool and we heard no noise - the breakfast was outstanding.

The pool was great for the kids and adults in our group. There were always towels stocked. The continental breakfast was amazing.

Several members of my family came in for my mother's celebration of life. We booked multiple suites and rooms together on the same floor. The hotel also booked up the other rooms for a hockey convention for pre teens and their parents. The teenagers where running through the halls, knocking on the doors and then running away. We went down to the front desk and informed them, one of the multiple teenagers standing there with his parents said, "waahh wahh" and rolled his eyes. Neither the staff nor the parents did anything. This went on all weekend!! On Saturday night the hockey parents where getting drunk in the open area of the lobby and the teens where running through the hotel, but at this point they where not only banging on our doors but where opening them and sticking there heads in. Again, we complained to the front desk. As we where doing so, a VERY drunk hockey dad wanted to physically fight. I am a 50 year old woman, 5 ft tall and this man was physically going to hit me. The front desk employees just stood there and did nothing. There where around 30 hockey parents, all drunk, surround myself and 4 family members wanting to fight. We had family in from multiple states, all grieving my mother's loss, and we where met with all of that. THE STAFF DID NOTHING TO STOP ANY OF THE BEHAVIOR NOR DID THEY APOLOGIZE. It became a very out of control drunken environment as soon as you walked into the lobby and nothing was done to stop it.

The breakfast which was included with stay was very good! Facility was clean, pool was great as well! Staff were friendly and courteous. My family and I will definitely return.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient location for us to get to Eau Claire and Cadott. The area seems safe and there is plenty of free parking. There are lots of restaurants within driving distance and a good breakfast at the hotel. The only downside was the pool was smaller than expected and there are lots of families who stay here so the pool area gets crowded quickly, we all still had a nice time!

The hotel itself was great to spend the weekend at with young kids. The pool was great and the breakfast had great choices for all the kids I was with.

We like to travel and this hotel is one of those rare gems! It was prefect for our big family. From the moment we entered the hotel there was a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Ben at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. The warm breakfast options and pool/hot tub were really nice! I was pleasantly surprised at the options in the fitness room as well! It was quietly located off major roads and easily accessible. We will definitely stay here again!
