We had a wonderful time in Cottage 39. We were in town for a wedding and wanted a little bit of space for our family of 4. This was the perfect spot. We didn't get to spend a lot of time on property because of wedding activities, but we did take advantage of the free mini golf as well as the outdoor and indoor pools at the lodge. The kitchen was great for making breakfasts to start our busy days. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing we didn’t like About they don’t have a restaurant on site. It’s been closed since Covid. But very relaxing and family friendly

This property is perfect for a family getaway; I do mean getaway as it is in a secluded out of the way location. Lots of activities…pools, tennis, basketball, mini golf, horseback riding, catch and release fishing, and a bit more. My only complaint was cabin was not as described and some activities are pricey.

Everything was clean and very nice. The room was kinda small but big enough for us. It was a lot of activities in close to a lot of things in town. We will definitely stay here again and bring the kids

We had an amazing vacation in the resort. In addition to the fully equipped cabin, the kids enjoyed playing in the park, mini golf, watching the horses and the pool. The staff was kind and nice. highly recommend

Beautiful grounds with lots of activities to do on over a 1,000 acres. The hotel was a dump with paper thin walls, with a crappy restaurant. If you think that Applebees is gourmet, then you might like the food selection and cafeteria quality of the cooking. The place is part of a large timeshare facility that caters to and appeals to the lowest common denominator. Really skid row.

We attended a family friend's wedding. We explored Gordonsville. We had lunches at a French restaurant and the local BBQ. Both experiences were delightful. People are friendly and polite. The rooms at the Shenandoah Crossing are clean.Staff are professional and helpful. The only thing that was not pleasant was the heater in the room. It was noisy. Every time the temperature outside changes the heater will start blowing. We were not able to sleep very well because of the noisy sound it created.

Our room was very basic, and the bathroom was tiny.(guess we got what we paid for since we got such a good deal). No rollaway beds available at all any more-would have been more comfortable had we known that before we got there. We had requested one. Seemed there was another charge every time we turned around. We were told at night that breakfast would be $6.99. Found out in the morning that was the kids' price-adults were $9.99. When we arrived, we were asked if we would like juice, etc. Found out when the bill came that that wasn't included. One glass was $2- made breakfast $11.99 each. Most activities cost more. Maid didn't come because our "do not disturb" sign was up early in the morning. We took it down mid morning, while the maids were across the hall, but they never came. Trail ride was exceptional and very reasonably priced. Must have a different manager than the motel. Also, while checking my email at the one public computer (no chair), I couldn't avoid hearing one staff member go on and on to a group of others about how another staff member had done something incorrectly and he had to fix it. Very unprofessional in front of guests, or even if i wasn't present!
