Highland Lodge

Elsa and Chad are the best! :) They are the new managers of Highland Lodge, and they could not be more delightful! Caspian Lake is terrific (mere steps away), and the lodge provides all manner of kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and more. There is tennis and walking trails and every activity you and your family could want! In the evenings, enjoy a specialty cocktail on the porch that overlooks the lake and watch the sunset. Or enjoy one of the nightly food truck options (Sunday - Tuesday) or a delicious dinner on the lawn or wander to one of the nearby "food mecca options" including the famous Cabot Creamery, microbrewery, gastropubs and more! We can't wait to return!

Perfect for a family trip off the beaten path a bit. Everyone was super friendly. Food was great at the lodge. Just what we were looking for to get away with the kids and disconnect. We stayed in a cabin and had plenty of room for a family.

I've stayed in a lot of old buildings, this was by far the loudest creaking floor ever. Combine that with a family room right above you, and the entry way right outside your poorly fitting door, and I didn't get much sleep. The upstairs rooms are probably fine.
