The property was well maintained and clean! It had a restaurant on site. The breakfasts were excellent and worth the cost! It would make a great place for families to stay! It had hotel rooms, cabins and Teepees!

Excellent hotel with a restaurant which offers great food. Staff was very professional and fast. A special shout out to the young lady who served the breakfast in the morning ALONE. Pool, jacuzzi and gym were very well maintained. A great place for families.

Very nice property clean and quiet with great views. Close to Capital Reef. Due to family emergency only got to stay 1 night of 3 night stay. Staff called me after early check out to let me know they put in a cancellation refund with the 3rd party site I booked with. I had not even asked for a refund but this was greatly appreciated. Will be back as soon as we are able to reschedule. Excellent staff at check in and check out.

We stayed at CR Resort for 1 night in the Red Cliff two bedroom cabin. First, let me say it was VERY nice. Super clean and modern. From the pictures, I thought it was going to be quiet large and was a big caught off guard when it was really more of a "tiny home." Everything was so small and didn't have great seating for our family of four in the main area (just a table with four chairs and a small couch). It was in a great location just outside of Capitol Reef. Gas station that was nearby. The cabins are 500+ feet from the parking lot, but do NOT let that stop you. The staff were amazing. They came with large golf carts and transported everthing from our car to the cabin and put it right outside the door. VERY friendly. Then, just a quick phone call when it was time to leave and they were there within 2 minutes to transport our luggage to the car. The hot tub is quite a ways away from the cabins, and since it was really cold, we didn't use it. Bonfire was going and I saw quite a crowd around the pit. We didn't use, but it did indeed look like fun. I bet this resort is amazing during the summer. Well kept and GREAT service.

This place is absolutely horrible. Not a resort in the slightest bit but a motel with employees with horrible attitudes. The heated pool is completely closed, the hot tub can only be used with permission from the nasty employees. The room was damaged and not sound proofed, you could hear the other rooms talking quietly as if there were speakers in your room. The pipes were extremely loud. The HVAC unit is extremely old and extremely loud. The information given at front desk was all completely wrong. The food was very simple and over priced for something a child could make. The pillows are tiny and barely held a head. There was no way to purchase any basic needs. Key cards were de-programmed after room service and I was given attitude when asking to have them re-programmed. When front desk was alerted of the extremely disappointing issues, they didn't care at all nor were willing to help in the slightest bit. Checked out early and went home, without a refund because the employees were so nasty. Do not go.

It was just bad experience, checkin was slow, rooms are very outdated, 21inch old TV, noisy room you can literally hear neighbors talking about their trip plans and kids were running around all night literally like someone kept knocking on top of your head.

The food was amazing and the view was amazing. The staff was great How ever Ac did not work. Refrigerator did not work and spoiled are babies milk. There where some stairs that need repair, they where Dangerous. Had we not had such a hard day I would have asked for another room and we had already carried all the suit cases to the room

We loved our stay at the Capitol Reef Resort! The room had a beautiful view and the bed was very comfy. The room was clean. We weren’t necessarily greeted when we got there but the front desk girls were nice enough. The restaurant associated with the hotel was not that great, the server was awesome but the food was “meh.” There is a pool but it was full of little kiddos and so was the hot tub so we didn’t use them.

The resort was ok. My biggest issue was there was no hot water. Had it turned all the way to hot and the water was warm, my husband had cold water. I paid for a patio and what we got was a small place where they stuck two chairs and everyone just walks right by you. The units upstairs at least have a little privacy on the patio. When we tried to check in, which it was early, we were told to come back at 4:00. When we did there was a line. When we did check in they were having a hard time processing credit cards. From 8:30 - 9:00 pm our phone kept ringing. I tried to answer it a few times and there was no one there. Then after 9:00 pm there was a knock at the door. No lights to see who it was so open the door. It was some guy with a kid and told me that the front desk is trying to contact me. I tried to use the phone in the room but it would not connect to the front desk. I had to call them on my cell phone. They were now trying to get my credit card number again. Breakfast wasn't that great so we found a place in town which was much better. We also eat across the street a few times. We did have some great sunsets though! The unit was very dated and it was dark. My next trip I will try another place.
