Hampton Inn Richfield

It was a busy weekend in Richfield due to high school wrestling state finals. I booked a hotel room with two queen beds two months in advance to accommodate my family of four. We got there and they put us in a room with one king bed. My kids are teenagers and are fully grown. When I explained the situation to the front desk they said they couldn’t change our room because they were completely booked. When I pointed out I had booked my room two months in advance they said there was nothing they could do. They said they would have the manager contact me but I never heard anything. There was no room to put a roll away bed in the room. Luckily at the last minute my 6’ tall son decided not to come otherwise he would have had to sleep out in our truck on a freezing cold night. Needless to say none of us got a good night’s sleep. We were still charged full price for the room. We stay in Richfield several times a year for sporting events but we won’t come back to this hotel again.

Pool opened early & closed late. Breakfast was delicious and was open til 10. It accompanied very well for our family.

I always have liked and used Hampton Inns, used them when I was working (traveling) and for family use.

Stopped overnight on a long drive. Clean, friendly and comfortable. Breakfast had something for everyone in my family. Helpful staff.
