Quality Suites

The quality of the Quality Inn was pretty poor. The door to the room didn’t latch unless you pushed or pulled it. Then it was hard to even get in with the key. You had to pull and push a million times to get it open. There was no covering on the smoke detector, so it probably didn’t even work, which should be violation of code. The hot tub was full of actual trash. The carpet was nasty. Very outdated. The curtains were in shreds. Thee looked to be a decent sized spot of blood on the bathroom floor underneath the sink. Just overall not a very comfortable experience for the family. The sheets were clean and it was quiet. That’s about it.

Most everything was good, but check-in is at 3 and we had to wait until after 4 to get our room. My family and I had to sit out in the lobby with our luggage until it was ready. And that was after we left and came back to give them some time. Room was good though once we got in. I would suggest having the people cleaning look up and clean the walls. Apparently people like to flick things on the wall. Kind of sad grown people do that, but apparently they do.

The male front desk personnel was nice and welcoming. Our room had a king bed and sofa pull out bit smaller than other hotel room we have stayed at but overall enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Hotel room, pool, lobby, and eating area was clean.

This hotel was in a location convenient to the home of family members we were visiting. The room was adequ a te for our needs and the bed was quite comfortable. However, the door appeared to have been forced ar one time (evidenced by prybar marks) and it was very difficult to get shut. It would not close completely without force.

Surprisingly well run hotel. Breakfast basic but very good. For example the scrambled eggs don’t taste like they have been just reheated in a microwave, although they could have been. Texas shapes waffles are always a hit. The hotel has plates and silverware out all day with some condiments, so if you want to make use of the fridge and microwave in the hotel room, one can get the utensils. 2x Double room with sofa bed was very comfortable and clean. Pool is also very basic but good for some family fun in the heat. It could use some shade though. We really enjoyed the stay especially so very it costs half the price of nearby hotels.
