La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham I-20 Longview South

We were visiting family. The hotel was mostly clean, but you had to struggle to get the shower to work and there were spots on shower wall where things had broken off and not been replaced. There were no kleenex in the box for that. Overall it was still a good stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was good for our family of 4.

Me and my boyfriend spent 100 something to swim with the kids which was the whole reason we got a room we got there late and we've got other rooms there before and the pool was open past 12:00 we got there at 9:48 they closed pulled down right at 10 something so we asked for a refund and she told us we would have to take that up with the manager so we offered to leave and not even spend the night there and the lady at the front desk was rude she was rude to the people before us even the people before us was apologizing for how rude she was to them and then we woke up around 8:00 and asked if she could open the pool and she said no the pool opens at 10 and check out is 11:00 there was no reason for us to even get the hotel room if we couldn't swim and she told us to check out right then and then proceeded to call the cops and now my boyfriend is now CT from there all because we wanted to go swimming we basically paid a hundred to swim for 30 minutes and then she pretty much wasn't going to let us swim in the morning either the night shift lady at the front desk said that

Ever this was rusty had a bad cover up in shower look like a kid did the work will not stay a this location again

Arrived to a group of black kids smoking pot in the parking lot then inside they were in the lobby dancing and playing loud music. Its 330 and several other people are complaining their rooms aren't ready because this group won't leave. My spouse just had slip and fall and couldn't walk so i asked for permission to get room chair to wheel her up (to the 3rd floor no doubt!). Finally get her up to room after fighting the annoying mats in the lobby and elevator that don't allow wheels to roll over. We had called before booking to ensure that this hotel had a "working" hot tub as we beleived it would help her with her injury and was told yes (found out later that it heats but no jets at all). Went to take her to jacuzzi but find out elevator has overheated?? Literally had to carry her up and down 3 flights of stairs multiple times but couldn't change room!! The pool key won't work and have to go get manager every time to open only to let me into a tiny hot room with no working equipment and a bunch of roudy kids that probably aren't even staying here then exhausted carry spouse 3 flights of stairs again soaking wet and cold to change so we can do the stairs again to eat.

Super helpful desk clerk, kids loved the pool and work out room. We all loved the room, super roomy, comfy. Great stay!

Clean rooms and movie channels. Indoor pool was good for kids

We always like to stay at La Quinta. We stayed 2 nights. The kids are always excited about the pool. After we checked in the clerk stated it was closed. Then the next evening the closed sign was still up and people were swimming. The hotel is very short staffed up front. The breakfast was the worst one we have had by far. The inside of the property was nicely decorated and smelled clean. The rooms were clean, but if u really look like when I replaced the toilet paper it was nasty in there. The door to our room 204 right outside the elevator had a large opening that kept our room lit up all night long. We were disappointed but will still use laquinta. The day time girl was always cleaning❤️

I should have known it was going to be bumpy when the lady in front of me was asking for another room as there were apparently loud children on her floor. She was told there weren't any other rooms available & so she asked them to send someone up to tell the people to quiet their children down. Anyway, when it was my turn I got just as annoyed. I reserved the room on one of my cards online, but selected the "pay cash" option when we got there. When we got ready to check in, they stated they were going to run my card. So I informed her that we wanted to pay cash & that was the option we selected. We were then told it would be an extra $50 deposit if we wanted to pay cash. Just in case we took anything. Well I wish I had known that when I booked the room. It was a tad inconvenient to not find that out until we got to the hotel. Then we went up to our room & it was rather noisy on our floor, but we ignored it & went into our room as we were tired from working all day & then traveling. Once we got into our room, we could hear our neighbors next door laughing & talking but by then we were to tired to care. The room was nice & clean, but we could tell there may have been some changes as we could see some holes in the wall next to our bed. Since we were only there one night, it was a good stay. If we had to stay longer, we might not have made it past check in.

Everything looked nice. The pool area is a joke. Its literally like 100 degrees in there. No ventilation. Its like a sauna. I tried to open the windows but they are screwed shut. The pool has way too much chlorine. So much the pool is cloudy. Went to the room and my son stepped on a rusty carpet staple. I asked the front desk person for a bandaid and she pulled out the first aid kit that was pretty much empty and told me she didnt have anything. They sold first aid kits and she told me I would have to buy one We also found a few screws by the window in our room. The bathtub didnt have a plug so my kiddo took a shower. On a good note the beds were very comfortable and the bedding is nice and soft.
