We selected this property because the Expedia listing said the executive suite had TWO double sofa beds and a king bedroom. Our two twenty years old college sons were driving from Austin to join us in Dallas to see Hamilton the next afternoon. When we checked in and tried to make sure we got the suite with two double beds we were told that there was only one sofa bed and that we were given their biggest suite. We thought that our sons could survive one night in a double sofa bed until we got to the room and tried to pull the bed out. The sofa was long and the bed was basically a single futon as the bed opened out only about four feet with it’s longest dimension running parallel to the sofa instead of the normal way so that only a small child could fit in the part of the bed between the sofa arms. I called the desk clerk to see if they had a rollaway bed and she said no. I then asked her if we could get another room for free or at a discounted rate as the room was not as advertised.. She said it was Expedia’s mistake so I should call them. I did and after being transferred three or four times to a higher level employee I was offered a $165 king bedroom for $65 plus taxes with Expedia providing a $100 coupon to be applied.i accepted expecting to be charged $65 plus the room taxes and the parking charge. The next morning upon checking out, I asked the same desk clerk for a paper receipt for our two room stay and she refused to give me one saying that that all went to Expedia.
