Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas East

Pros: Great room. Great price. Breakfast provided had plenty of options for adults and kids. Staff were helpful and nice. Cons: No blackout curtains in the room. Requested a crib for our baby to be set up since we were arriving late in the evening (after baby's bedtime), it wasn't set up yet when we got there so we had extra stuff to do before we could get the baby back to sleep. All in all we were very satisfied.

Terrible!!!! Booked my stay 2 hours prior to arrival on hotels.com and when I arrived with my family my card had been declined. Waited in the lobby for 1.5 hours while front desk tried to figure out why and it was because hotels.com did not charge a certain tax fee for the room which was about $10. I missed our New Years Eve party all do to this issue. Wasn’t able to get into my room until 11:35. So I paid $167 for my room and then find out they forgot to charge me $10 for that extra fee. I will never use hotels.com again and I feel I should be compensated for the situation.

Stayed at hotel with husband and 2 children and this hotel was great! The front desk lady was super nice and friendly i think her name was Viviana can' recall..the aarea was really close to downtown. It was close to walmart and other stores. For breakfast they offered,juice coffe eggs,waffles,sausage, bagels and cereal options. Great place to stay will definetly be back.

The hotel staff was amazing, the breakfast offered was very good and well presented. Everything was cleaned up quickly. Indoor pool made my kids super happy!

Terrible experience, terrible customer service, discrimination... we checked in on friday... by sunday at 7pm we arrived to our rooms and they denied our entry because cards have been declined so we offer the cash to pay the room and get our things out... they denied the cash... we had a baby 7 months old and a kid 3 years old.. the milk, bottles, diapers, food for them were in room they didnt let us get in at least for their basic needs... manager never appeared... front desk ( Leroy) was rude and never gave a solution for us neither accept the cash to clear the balance due... until 1 am when my husband said he was going to suit the hotel because our baby needed her food and was crying they finally decided to call the manager (jerry) and accept our cash... 5 hours on the lobby with the cold weather.... it has been almost a week now we left that hotel and manager never to call to apologize... the rest of the american citizens that enter the hotel were received cheerfully... while we mexicans and an another arabian family were constantly asked if we had rooms with a rude tone... we will never return to a hilton hotel again
