Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Dallas DFW Airport North/ Irving

Great service. All staff smiling and friendly all time. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious. Traveled with my kids therefore we had to try pool, luckily it was indoors (very convenient) since it was cold weather. Kids had a good time. The commute was good - roughly 10-15 min to get to restaurants or in our case to Legoland. Definitely will be coming back.

Excellent! I usually choose high end but chose this for my grandchildren so they could swim. EVERYONE was accommodating, polite, professional. My new “go to when traveling from DFW!”

From the time I called for shuttle…it took 4 calls and one hour to finally be picked up and delivered to hotel. The front desk employee was apathetic and seemed to be clueless. I told him exactly where I was outside of bag claim. He told me to walk to C31 or C4 and call back. On my second call I confirmed my location again. 30 mins later I called again to inquire as to color of van and eta. He said “baby blue 20 mins” and hung up. On my 4 th call another 10 mins later the shuttle driver answered. Said I was suppose to do downstairs and look for purple sign. At no time was this info provided! Once on board the driver was extremely pleasant and helpful. At check-in the same person who took my calls was fiddling with some ice pack. Did not acknowledge me until I finally said “my key PLEASE”. I asked to be put on the shuttle list for a specific time and he said “you can do it later”. No. Now it’s 9pm. I can’t deal with issues in the AM. The guy is terrible and should not be your first line of contact! Finally, while the hotel is lovely, the bed to the right has bed bugs!!!! I have photos of the bugs and welts which appeared within 5 mins!!!! It was late and I was worn out so I showered and changed beds. No issue in 2 bd bed. I left note for housekeeping. Arrived at 9 pm left at 6 am. No issues with shuttle back to airport. Did not take breakfast but looked good.
