La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus TX

I was told by the clerk when I asked for extra blankets for my children that she had extra blankets in the back but not for my double bed room. Well ok then

In the first room sofa bed was broke and missing more than 1/2 of the springs, along with tv not working. Was given a different room upon request. Second room was better but not without its issues. It had lightbulbs that were out, pillows that looked and felt well beyond their lifespan, tub had stains all in and had visible scale build up on shower head. Only other annoyance is had to sign out for set of sheet for the sofa bed, at a rate of $250 if lost for a $50 sheet set. Hotel it self had a clean lobby and breakfast area. Only complaint was the super strong chlorine smell upon entering lobby. Went to take kid to swim and the concentration of chlorine in the small room we weren't able to stay more than 5 mins before leaving, never made into pool.

Stayed with extended family for a wedding. LaQuinta is not usually my choice for hotels, but this one was clean and nice. No complaints.
