Colton House Hotel

The family suite was spacious and cozy!

We stayed in the three bedroom suite with my family. The beds were comfortable and the space was perfect. There was a nice pool and outdoor space. Would definitely stay here again.

Our spring break trip got canceled on this site so they gave us this hotel. Amazing for my family of 5 it was like we had our own apartment. Very quiet and luxurious Thanks Colton house it’s started off ruff but coming here made it all worth it!

We enjoyed the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom layout. We had a family member visit and they just stayed in the extra room with their own privacy. Also, Phoebe’s Cafe was right around the corner.😋

Colton House hotel is very beautiful, family friendly with nice set of toys for kids in the lobby, in comfortable for our family location! Nice decoration, well structured. We had nice and specious room with everything what you need to feel like home. BUT the floor in the room was unexpectedly duty even though it was washed before we came into the room….the rest was nicely cleaned! And the restaurant has very poor food choices on our taste. I hope management will reconsider flooring cleaning supplies with less chemicals and more results.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Room set up work well for work or family. Convenient grocery store. Busy street so not great for pedestrians. Family friendly spaces throughout. Great restaurant area for a.m. or p.m. overlooking pool. Colton House made our family gathering in Austin comfortable and convenient.

Our suite was very comfortable and had all the amenities you could want, similar to a house rental. The hotel had so many quaint rooms to escape to. The patio was spacious and a great place to gather with friends or family. We enjoyed listening to live music. The staff was excellent! I will never stay anywhere else when i visit Austin!

The Colton was a great property. It was comfortable, clean, and service was outstanding. The staff was all class. And we thought the location was good, not downtown, but most of what we do in not in downtown. There was a small hiccup that the hotel manager handled in an incredibly positive way. We were in Austin to visit our yong grandkids and they usually each spend a night with us at our hotel. I made arrangements to take the larger suite for the weekend-this is the first time we stayed at the Colton House anticipating grandkids spending the nights with us. The website said the suite could sleep three and from the photos we thought there was a sleeper in the living room. Turns out it is a regular couch and the hotel has a policy of no cots. This was a problem for us with two adults and a child each night and one king size bed. We spoke to the manager about the misunderstanding and the problem it was for us. It took him 30 seconds to move us to a two bedroom suite at no cost increase. This is high class service and was a gracious act. Needless to say everyone had a great weekend.

Really well appointed rooms, chic and comfortable! The rooms are a little noisy with road traffic and concrete flooring, though the rugs help. Love the pool/patio off the restaurant. Recommend, especially with a group or family.

My family loved staying here. The style and design is so unique and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved the parking garage benefit of having covered parking for our rented vehicle during the crazy and unexpected Texas storms. We rented a two bedroom room/suite and the kitchen has everything you could need AND there is also a washer and dryer in the unit! That was so great! One thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was that there isn’t a restaurant on site. The bar is great, but just wish they had food options instead of small quantities of snacks. Would love to enjoy a meal in that cute courtyard instead of having to DoorDash. Also, there is a church/camp or something next door and that was kind of awkward. We were on the second floor facing that side and that community’s lights are SUPER bright at night and came right into our room. Wish there were blackout curtains in the main area livingroom/kitchen and not just the bedrooms and maybe ask the people next door to adjust their lights lower?? Besides those things - I still highly recommend this location. Loved our stay and would definitely come back!
