Best Western Newport Inn

This is the place we have stayed in the past for our family reunions. Several families stay and we usually hang out at the pool. This place has always been very accommodating for our needs while we are staying there.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable accommodations, nice breakfast buffet choices. Very convenient for me and my family visiting the Newport area.

Staff was amazing, especially our housekeeper Penny! Truly a gem! My issue was that I was in from Michigan and unbeknownst to me at the time I reserved hotel through Expedia was that their pool and hot tubs were closed! I think I should have some type of compensation. I only booked there so that my kids and grandchildren could swim and I could soak in the hot tub. I even purchased trip protection, but it was only until 4 pm. I feel this is not ok. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated

Bugs in the room ,bad beds, We pai $175.00 ,for the room it was too high for what they offered. This Best Western was a very bad experience for me and my family.

It was very well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the pool and hot tub were really nice. They have a really nice layout for breakfast and the room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Water bugs. Not cockroaches. Looked more like flying ants. But the hotel staff called them water bugs. I didn't notice them until bedtime. I called the front desk and the person who'd checked is in came up and told me they were water bugs. She offered to let us move, but my 6 year old was asleep. I called down to the front desk 8 times between 1 and 1:30, with NO ANSWERS. We finally packed up or stuff at 1:30 and walked down to the front desk and asked to be moved. The man told me the bugs were harmless, and wanted to know why I wanted to move. Puh-lease. The other negative about the hotel was the tiny indoor pool. The first night we were there, there were about 15 kids in the pool. One on top of the other. Crazy.
