Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nashville Metrocenter Downtown, an IHG Hotel

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving trip to Nashville with my family, staying at the Holiday Inn. The rooms were impeccably clean, the showers provided a delightful hot soak, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. A cozy and enjoyable stay overall.

My kids wanted to swim as soon as checked in, so we dressed and headed down. The pool had so much built-up dirt and debris. We went back to shower after a very short swim to find the floor and walls of the shower covered in someone else’s hair. I didn’t have time to call down since we were all wet and cold so I got a wash cloth with soap and cleaned it myself. The cloth was filthy. Thankfully the beds don’t have hair in them. The bathroom also has stains and looks like someone tried to cover things in paint but it didn’t work. Won’t stay again.

This property was great for a family but also a cheap distance for an Uber ride downtown!

Our flight was delayed and came in late. They pre checked me in before I got there and then gave us late check out no problem so my kids and I could sleep and get cleaned up.

All in all, it was a really good place to stay was just very upset that we had already booked the room and there was nothing online about the pool not working and that is what my child enjoys most about hotels.

Place was pretty spotless! Customer service didn’t exist with the front desk, I could go on and on about we saw but it wouldn’t be worth it. Just don’t expect any southern hospitality from them for the most part. You’ll be lucky to get a hello from them. Now the housekeepers were amazing and so friendly! They were the only people that showed any type of customer service. One of the house keepers even helped me take my infants down the elevator and to the lobby. I was extremely grateful for her. Breakfast was great and the ladies who were making the breakfast were also extremely nice.

The trip was a nice over the night stop for our family. The room was so nice and spacious we decided to order in and just have dinner there

We loved this hotel! We had 4 adults and 2 kids ages 4 and 11 months, and though the room was on the small side, we didn’t mind because we weren’t there much. The bathroom was good size, the shower was large and we loved the Doce products that were available! The pool was a nice area, we liked how half of it was shaded. We were able to get anywhere in about 10 minutes but there’s not a lot of traffic by it. We read reviews about the singing hotcakes lady and we got to meet her! She was so sweet and fun. Breakfast was also really delicious. They had such a good variety. All the staff we met were friendly, we never had problems with loud guests and most of all, it was really clean. Like, even the corner of the shower was spotless. Overall, this hotel was great!

This property was very nice and new. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful! But if you’re not into Roccus nightlife be careful going downtown to the food assembly hall. We are a family and that was not our scene. We ended up going soon where else it was more accommodating for families. But this absolutely has nothing to do with this hotel. They are a wonderful organization!
