Comfort Inn & Suites Atoka-Millington

There were a couple of things that went wrong during my stay. The cleaning woman, Stacy, did not do a good cleaning. After being out all day, I arrived to my room to see that my floor was not vacuumed and bathroom item still dirty. The front desk person came to my room, looked, gave me a vacuum, and told me that he would notify management. The vacuum was disgusting. Needless to say I had to vacuum my own room. It was full of dirt, hair, and dust. There was a hole the size of a tennis ball in the shower underneath the shower head. I had to stuff a washcloth in the hole to ensure no one was watching me shower. The walls are super thin. I could hear people talking and having sex. I couldn’t have quiet time with my toddler. The tv had to be turned on to muffle the bed rocking and woman moaning. SMH… Other than that, the hotel is nice and the surrounding area is as well.

South side door clearly has not fit into door jamb in months. Therefore, Open to public. Additionally stairs accessible from this unrepaired side door, lead to floor-specific doors which also do not lock. So, a guest, child or adult, for that matter, walking to vending machines or elevators, etc. from their room, are vulnerable to anyone off the street, who may or may not have a weapon. Extremely unsafe! I told the front desk manager this, and she said the police frequently patrol the parking lot on that side. I imagine they do, because when I went out to get my charger from my car, there were several people smoking outside the broken door. I smelled pot. Additionally, pool broken and appeared to have green water when we were able to view it in person. NOT as advertised. Would like refund. Expedia and Comfort Inn are setting themselves up for a lawsuit with the safety issue.

It was a nice remodeled hotel. Room had good space and seating, everything worked, clean. Grandkids visited and swam in the cold pool but loved it. Staff were working hard, thankful allowed use of phone charger. 4 star due to price, high for a choice hotel off the beaten path

Had wireless, continental breakfast, microwave & fridge in room - good for business traverlers or family.
