Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Beaufort at Highway 21, an IHG Hotel

Clean and convenient, I needed a room just for the night with my family, it had everything I needed.

The hotel was ok. We originally booked a 2 bed room and with 20 minutes left in our 10 hour car ride we’re called and told that our reservation was cancelled. This is after the hotel called to confirm 4times and we always said we were coming, just late. Check in was at 4 and we arrived at 11 or so due to traffic. The pool was under construction and had I known that I would have booked elsewhere, they sent a text message stating that the renovations were happening after the moment the booking was locked in at the 24 hour window. Then there was breakfast. They advertised a free breakfast with the stay and that was also not true. We received meal vouchers for 3days and had to use them all at once because they were only good for one person and we had 6, then had to pay on top of it. The one waitress they had working there was very rude and when we asked to switch from the obviously spoiled chocolate milk to juice she rolled her eyes and said well the date was fine. There was nothing for children on the menus and no way to order in smaller portions, according to the waitress. The rooms were also not very clea, there was black hairs all over our room and the pull out couch had a lot of stains on it. The rest of the hotel staff was very friendly. Charles the night shift front desk man was seriously the BEST!!! He made us feel like we were welcomed and not like a burden like the rest of the staff we came into contact wit.

No pool for kids even though they advertise a pool. Ran out of Toilet Paper and all they would offer was 1 roll. Three day stay and never had room cleaned or updated towels or toiletries.

pool was closed foe renovation but this was never communicated anywhere and kids were really looking forward to a pool. no towels or pull out bedding was in the room had to got to frint desk to pick some up. staff at bar/restaurant was extremely rude. the place was clean and front desk worker was nice area close to hotel felt safe.

My stay in this hotel with my family was amazing. We loved it except that our room was not cleaned after I have requested that.

The room size was good. however, the soundproofing was not good the people next to us played music till after 10 pm at night I had to call the ft desk to get them to quiet down. also, the people above us had a child that ran around constantly that was annoying until he went to sleep #2 on arrival the safe was locked so we could not lock up our valuables medications firearms etc. . and the 2 nights that we were there even after a maintenance man came to the room with a box that he connected to the safe he could not open it and the problem was never resolved during our stay. #3 no tv remote the front desk did bring us one #4 when we asked for the room to be serviced all that was done was the trash removed and fresh towels replaced the bed was not made and nothing else in the room was cleaned like cobwebs on the lamps The front desk was friendly enough but initially did not listen to me about the safe saying I was doing something wrong. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life I am aware of how the safes work.

Unfortunately the hotel overbooked us and didn’t notify us until 8PM of our check in date. They did book us at another hotel at no cost to us, but that hotel gave us two queen rooms rather than a suite with two queens and a pullout bed which was very inconvenient for our family of five (two adults and three teens). One of the kids ended up sleeping on the floor.

Room setup was nice for family. Located close to all the great local things

This is one of the best hotels in Beaufort. I would give them 10 stars if I was allowed. Super clean super friendly perfect family hotel.Loved it!!

We live in town. Our AC broke so we chose Holiday Inn, SPECIFICALLY, so I could pay and get the supposedly GREAT breakfast they serve for my husband, two kids, and myself. We go down at 9 (breakfast ends at 9:30), to be told THEY'RE CLOSED. I ALREADY PAID FOR IT AND GOT THE ROOM SPECIFICALLY TO NOT HAVE TO TAKE MY ENTIRE FAMILY OUT FOR BREAKFAST. So, now I've wasted money, the hotel says they cannot do anything because I booked through hotels.com, and I have to go spend a bunch more money and stress and time to take my 2 kids into a restaurant for breakfast, after already waking them earlier than needed FOR NOTHING. ENTIRE STAY was ruined and I'm absolutely livid.
