My whole family loves this hotel! It is beautiful and clean and in a perfect location. Very walkable to the harbor in Newport. The food is delicious and fresh, the bar is great, and even the mini bar in the rooms is a cut above. They have little stations on all of the floors (except the 2nd) where you can get cold water, sparkling water, ice, ice cream. Just another lovely touch at this hotel. We have stayed here several times, and have loved it each time. The rooms with a harbor view are a bit smaller than rooms with a city view. Personally, I prefer teh city view rooms, as they are roomier.

The staff was very accomodating and helpful. Had a perfect stay until our last morning when the guests next to us were very loud...screaming and crying children running down the hall. Not the hotel's fault just rude people

By far, my favorite sweet boutique hotel in the country. I travel extensively- for work and pleasure- and my family and I love coming to the Brenton. The staff is friendly but not annoying, helpful and happy. The hotel itself is spotless and the accommodations are top notch. Easy valet parking, reasonably priced room service, free in room diet Coke (reason enough for me to stay!) and great locale.

Absolutely lovely. Everything you could want from a hotel. Great amenities, they don’t nickel and dime you, the food is really yummy, they have REAL Diet Coke (in cans in the room too!), they have valet parking, comfortable, stylish, bright rooms and great smelling (remember when hotels did that? They still do!). Then there is the service- Kate at the front desk was wonderful with me and my kids. Very patient, engaging and fun. The valet attendants couldn’t have been nicer and the room service was yummy, super quick and with a very fun presentation. What an absolute treat. Can’t wait to go back.
