Rhea's Inn By The Sea

Clean facilities and extremely friendly staff. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Rhea’s Inn was absolutely beautiful!!! We booked a king room with a deck which overlooked the ocean. The room and bathroom were large and exceptionally clean!!! Coffee and breakfast(bagels, muffins and fruit) were included. The owners was very friendly. He gave us a lot of recommendations in the area and chatted with us everyday. The surrounding area was nice, walkable, safe and only a few minutes to drive to downtown Newport. We loved it so much we recommended it to a family member who will be there later this year and they booked it also. We would definitely stay here again!!

This room was immaculate and had everything we needed. Large selection of continental breakfast items, coffees, teas juices, everything. And the plus was the family that owns this awesome.!” We hated to leave, but we certainly hope to be back. I’ll give this a 10+

Our stay at Rhea's Inn by the Sea was enjoyable. Our third floor room had updated furniture which was clean and provided ample storage space. The bathroom was updated, as well. Stairways and public areas were clean, too, although the floor level "lobby" areas looked a little bit dated. It looked like the place had just been painted because the woodwork was so clean, but I have a feeling that the place is just well taken care of. There is a lobby area down by the front desk where fruit, granola bars, muffins, juice, etc, etc are all provided. What a BONUS! The motel is within walking distance to a nearby beach, Clementine's Ice Cream Shop and Flo's Clam Shack. It's also somewhat close to the Cliff Walk and within easy driving distance to downtown Newport. If you're looking for a Hilton with all the amenities, this isn't it, but Rhea's is a very clean, comfortable, quiet, family-owned place.

We had an excellent overnight stay. The hotel looks recently renovated. The hallway carpets were spotless. The bedroom and bathroom were good-sized and in excellent condition. There was a cute seating area on the 2nd floor where we stayed, which has three rooms. So if a family or group booked those rooms, there's a little common area to gather in. The office area serves as the breakfast area. It's compact but well-organized with a couch, TV, ice machine, hot and cold water dispenser, coffee, tea, a refrigerator (stocked with yogurt, milk, juice, butter, jelly), dry cereal, oatmeal, English muffins, Pop Tarts, fruit, muffins, cookies, granola bars -- so many choices! Rhea's is in a great location. It's a short-ish walk to Easton Beach, and just beyond that is the famous Cliff Walk. There are several restaurants and stores very close by. We highly recommend this beautiful little hotel and would not hesitate to stay there if we are ever visit this area again!
