Super 8 by Wyndham Mifflinville Near Bloomsburg

I visit the area frequently and usually stay at another hotel but decided to give this one a try. It was a great hotel at an affordable price and I will definitely book it again. The main things - The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The little things - beds are very subjective to each individual, I found it very comfortable but not everyone will, that’s to be expected. The breakfast - it’s not often you see it included in an economical hotel and it was very much appreciated. It’s more grab and go type items so don’t expect a buffet and you won’t be disappointed. In the bathroom dispensers there was soap at the sink and in the shower/tub combo there was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Not all hotels include conditioner so that was appreciated also! The tub size is best for kids as it’s quite narrow but the water pressure is very good and will give you a great refreshing shower. The tv was a nice size with plenty of channels to choose from. The WiFi worked fine and I was able to do some work. Very convenient location with easy off/on access to the highway and a few fast food restaurants within walking distance. My window faced the on ramp to a major interstate and it really wasn’t very noisy. Overall it was a great stay!

Nice hotel, easy to find, right off the highway. Great price, great room but very busy and it would be nice if there were quiet hours. People (including children) in next room were making lots of noise, until at least 2 a.m., that was a little bizarre.

This is my go to motel in Mifflinville, PA since my family lives in town. However, due to financial circumstances they got rid of their last 6 smoking rooms. As a smoker, this was not good news for me and will influence my future stays in this area. Other than the loss of smoking rooms, I would definitely recommend this motel. Great location and the staff was amazing. Made me feel like family.

We were pleasantly surprised by the level of service we received and the condition of the rooms. Both rooms were immaculate -- I've stayed in higher end rooms that were not as clean as these rooms were. The décor was modern clean, new and extremely functional. Because we were traveling with family who are gluten free, have food allergies, and blood sugar issues, we really enjoyed having a larger dorm-type refrigerator and microwave in the room. The breakfast was functional - that could use improvement - but for the price, we could not have been happier. Great distance to Knoebels especially if you are coming from NJ.

Very clean, super friendly staff, pet friendly. We just needed somewhere for a quick overnight stay with our puppy on the way to visit family. The price was affordable in comparison to options in Wilkes-Barre and it did the job. Also right next door to a couple truck stops and several restaurants which made it very convenient. We would stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It wasn’t a loud motel and there is Some sound proofing between rooms and the outside. We thought the free brown bag breakfast in addition to the yogurt and breakfast sandwiches were great. There is 24 hr bottled water, coffee and juices available. They allowed dogs for an extra $15.90 per night and there was grass to walk them safely. We had a 2 bed room. The appliances were in good working condition. The shower (no bath tub) had soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers mounted inside which was nice too. I had higher expectations of the room cleanliness after reading reviews. The sheets and towels were clean. The inside top of the microwave wasn’t cleaned(yuck) and the laminate flooring was absolutely filthy. There was a lamp base that had sticky stuff all over it. I stopped at the store and purchased a mop and vinegar to clean with especially traveling with a toddler and our small to medium sized dog. Even the day after, our socks and feet were still black from dirt from the filthy floor. Thank goodness it wasn’t carpet! Additionally our first night we had neighbors who were smoking weed outside and the following night I smelled it intensely for a few hours as I guess it was coming through our ac/heat unit. Not that I judge what other people do, but I wasn’t comfortable having my children going outside to walk the dog or grab a juice from the office. We would stay again but now I know what to expect.
