Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Altoona

Although I've stayed in Altoona before, this was my first time staying at this place. It was more expensive than my normal accommodations in Altoona and the location is convenient. I was dissatisfied with a few things. Firstly, the one and only elevator is slow and takes a while to use it. Secondly, the walls aren't very sound proof as I heard screaming kids several rooms away. Lastly, the breakfast options were disappointing. Normally eggs and sausage are offered along with cold options, but all they had was a waffle maker and biscuits with gravy. It's better than nothing, but it was disappointing. With that being said, the room was very clean, but the bed & pillows weren't the most comfortable.

We stay at this motel regularly when traveling to see family. Always reliable andcomfortable.

Always stay at this hotel when I’m here visiting. Chuck was very helpful to me and my family . Infact everyone was fantastic. Will be coming back in October for another stay . Looking forward to another great stay at Microtel .

Hotel seemed overbooked during our stay was asking for a extra cot but was told none where available and provided blankets and pillows for my children to sleep on the floor. Breakfast was not able to fulfill the capacity of attendees and when we came to eat many items where gone. Called the management and was advised a partial refund however have not yet seem this.

Very comfortable accommodations .Close to hospital family member a patient. Clean and parking lot well lighted.

2nd time here they are friendly and clean. They treated us like family. And we had no issues with bringing our service dogs. This is a pet friendly hotel even if they are not service dogs. They have a dog area. Rooms were clean and comfortable

I thought the place was excellent and in a really nice area. I would stay again and would recommend to family and friends. Staff was excellent.

We have family in Altoona and had another great stay at Microtel! Clean, updated rooms and common areas. Nice pool and facilities. Friendly staff. Simple,but enjoyable breakfast! Justin was the Front desk staff and he was very helpful and pleasant. Thank you Microtel - Altoona PA

Everyone was super friendly and helpful . Been staying here for yrs now when I come to visit family and have never been disappointed.

The attendant on hand that greeted me and my family named Justin, was prompt, kind and helpful. We had trouble with our keys not working and needed them reprogrammed a total of three separate times for one of the two provided to work for entering the room. Which was room # 201.This was ok but a bit frustrating. The room was clean and suitable as was the facility itself. However I would never stay in this room again as the air conditioner made the worst high pitched noise along with the fridge and was unbearable all evening forcing us to leave by 8am sharp with little to NO sleep. This room is not acceptable for anyone trying to sleep and or gain a restful relaxing stay. I was highly dissatisfied with the fact this was the choice we were provided with because the noise again from the fridge and AC unit. Which if I had to rate them on a loud meter they were a 15 out of 10. I didn't report this to the manager on hand, Justin as we were simply exhausted and just not prepared to discuss the matter that late into the evening.
