Even though the hotel was full and the night clerks said they had a lot of kids there that night, I never heard anyone. The room was large and had a view of the mountains even from the first floor. Check in was also extremely fast. I appreciated the clock by the bed with the extra plugs and USB ports for charging. The fridge was larger than what i am used to in hotels, which was nice to keep our beverages cold during our stay.

Hotel is under construction. First room had no toilet, no water. Staff moved us across the hall, room had a full garbage can and hair on the pillow. Night employee had a visitor here and was standing outside with them, so when I called front desk to complain, nobody answered. I've never felt compelled to write a negative review in my life until now. Traveling with kids, holiday inn express is usually a solid choice. Just not this one 😞

The staff at the front desk was so friendly and courteous. The view from our room was amazing. The pool was so nice after a long drive. The room was large and we were so comfortable. Everyone was welcoming of our toddler and dog.

It was noisy do to dogs barking at all different times of our stay one almost jumped on my kid while trying to get to the car. And there was homeless people smoking outside behind the bushes and on the sidewalks.

The walls in this hotel are so thin that I could tell what tv show my neighbor was watching. I was woken up at 6 am to the sounds of some children running up and down the hallway that sounded like they were inside my own head, and again at 7:45 am to “TAP TAP TAP!!! HOUSEKEEPING!!!!” On every door down the hallway. Over and over. All I was trying to do was get ANY sleep at all and wake up at 9 am for another long day of driving. The kids I can forgive. The housekeeping is ridiculous. They work there. They know the point of renting a bed is to sleep in it. Never again.
