Red Lion Inn & Suites Grants Pass

We were impressed with most everything about our 2 night stay. The mini fridge was a fridge with a separate freezer. That was great for our cooler ice packs. Our kids enjoyed the muffins and yogurt for breakfast, but as protein fans us adults didn't have anything there we could eat. Kids were happy, so that works! There were a few things that weren't too bad, still 5 stars, but less than ideal. Our room didn't have a microwave, which was a bummer. The pool was a outdoor pool, and was nice, but the pool and space was really crowded with a kid's birthday party, which we weren't sure if all those people were hotel guests or people coming in for a party. Our kids didn't have much room to play because of the large party, but they still had fun. This was not our first stay here because we are happy with the place! If we are back in town this is the place we are choosing. Great value. If you're considering this place, I'd recommend it.

The room was lovely, very clean & comfortable. My only criticisms are about the included breakfast and complete lack of an elevator. Our first night was on the 2nd floor. We had a baby with a stroller and all the bags and cases that go with a group of 8 (we had 2 rooms) lugging all the luggage up stairs and then down again when leaving was a challenge. I learned on our way back through we requested a ground floor room; much better!! The breakfast is just awful... However, there are restaurant options near by. I do recommend the hotel and recommend you eat out.

This was the perfect stop for our family on our road trip. The breakfast was nice.

I’ve stayed here several times over the last five years or so. Grants Pass is a 1/2 way point for a regular visit to family. While the outside may look a little dated the rooms are not. Lots of places to eat nearby. Competitive prices. Only 2 stories but keep in mind, no elevators. They seem to fill up fast, especially in Spring & Summer, get reservations. Easy on & off freeway access.

Our family stay was excellent. Clean room with comfortable beds. The TV was just the right size to view the basketball playoffs. The staff was polite and accommodating. Breakfast was good for a continental breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

We got there a little early and the rooms were not ready. Which was fine, we went to get some groceries from Winco. As we were checking out the motel called to let us know our room was ready. The room and hotel were very clean. The pool is on the smaller side but was still very nice to have and fit 4-5 families. The only thing for me was the breakfast, very minimal: eng muffin, two types of cereal, mini muffins, instant oatmeal packs, bananas, orange, Nutri bar, and yogurt. I had see an advertisement with waffle and got my hopes up. Over all stay was nice.

It was just what my family needed. Very pleased!

We were pleased with the clean room in the pet section and the Melissa's help in choosing the best size room to fit our furry family comfortably.

Our Gymnastics team stayed here and the parents felt that the girls were safe and we loved that most of us were right next to each other. The cleaning staff was very friendly and we appreciated being greeted in the hallway upon arrival. Would have liked a bit more variety in the breakfast, especially fruit and non egg choice (kids don't always like eggs). Super fast check in and friendly front desk. Well worth the price to stay.

Staff is friendly warm and welcoming. Rooms are very comfortable and clean NO elevators so plan accordingly Very close to black bear diner Wendy's, Carl's junior ,gas stations ,sizzlers,dennys,McDonald's (walking distance 2 minutes)
