Hampton Inn & Suites Grants Pass

A few things went wrong. The first issue is there’s no daily housekeeping which can be challenging when you’re traveling with kids. Secondly, the housekeeping came and turned on the alarm clock for 6 unbeknownst to us so we all were waken early after a late night and of course the kids would not go back to bed. The last issue was a lack of warm/hot water in the shower. I would have loved to address this with the hotel but when I called the front desk I was treated poorly and the associate disconnected the call. I’ll stay at a different hotel next time.

Upon checking in we noticed that the hotel was clean and smelled fresh. Rolling carts were available to move our luggage to the third floor as well. The room was nice and cool, clean and smelled fresh as well. the beds were comfy and the shower was clean. I was a little worried that the refillable shower gell / body wash had no lock on the top so that anyone could unscrew the cap and add whatever they wanted to into the bottles but we just brought our own and it was fine. Breakfast was great. Overall a great value for the stay. We will be back the next time we visit family in town.

Very clean and kid friendly.

Very clean hotel that was in a perfect location for our over ight stay on a road trip. Service and breakfast was excellent. Rooms were nice. Sound traveled from the upstairs unit very easily so heads up in case that is a challenge for you. Pool was open but too cold for our kids to go in. The pool deck was verrrry slippery when a little bit of water for onto it so would recommend the hotel so something on that. Saw 4 kids wipe out and almost crack their head on the concrete and they were just walking. I would still highly recommend this hotel!

Property was clean and tastefully updated. The breakfast was also very nice. The pool however was glacial (indoor pool I might add). When I asked about this, I was told two stories. First, they didn’t have a heater and they were so sorry. Second, they had a heater but they just reopened for Covid and got a new part so it would take a few days to get up to temp. Regardless, the pool was not swimmable which was one of the few reasons we booked this hotel traveling with small children. The second individual I discussed this with was rude and condescending, blaming me for this issue stating I didn’t know the proper temperatures for pools. The whole experience was extremely disappointing. As long as you don’t care about the full amenities and basic customer service, this property is just fine.

Our family loves this hotel especially that it offers a heated indoor pool and breakfast!

The facility was clean and great amenities . The breakfast option were good. Hotels .com confirmation was not reflecting on their system and was frustrating. Samantha was able to assist the employee and find a resolution to checked us in. I am thankful because I have my daughter with two babies traveling with me and very exhausted . I am glad she handled the issue in a professional manner and explained the problem. She was pro active and happy with the outcome.
