Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Muskogee, an IHG Hotel

We had a family get together and we had grand kids and our adult kids. The pool served us well. The beds were comfortable and clean. The electric outlets need repairs it’s a cheap fix I don’t know why they don’t. The AC units for room 301 are to small to accommodate so room was never as cold as you wanted it.

Great place for a family of 5

I've been using Hotels.com for years (Gold member) and I generally gravitate to HIE or Hampton properties. Got in at 11pm with my wife, 2 kids, and 75yo mother (road trip for wedding). Night guy couldn't figure it out. Check-in, literally, took 45 minutes, during which time I had to ask 3 separate times (the last was pushing my patience) to let my family get a key and go on up to the room. I'll wait with you to figure this out, but you can see it's been paid for. Then there's the degenerate parents that let their 5yo down the elevator at 11:40pm, kid wailing, no idea where anyone is, I stop him going out the door at the end of the hallway. Mom comes down a few minutes later with another kid and sends him back up with the little one without a backwards glance and heads out for a smoke. The icing on the cake: water line busts in lobby early the next morning so no one had water to flush or shower. We brushed teeth with coconut water. Find another hotel if you're in Muskogee.

Check in was easy. Our room was ready. Upgraded to a suite. Room was adequate. Musty smelling. Our soap dispensers were empty, and we ran out of towels and toilet paper the next day. We didn't have anyone come by the room on our second day even though we made them aware we needed cleaning and refills. Our family had travelled for a funeral. The pool was over chlorinated and burned the kids eyes and they were not able to stay in. Breakfast was ready and hot on the morning that we didnt lose power. Not their fault. Staff was mostly friendly and helpful. Close to shopping and restaurants.
