It was a beautiful place!!! Right out of the past. I think a larger tv would have made it perfect. The tv was smaller than our computer screen and tucked into the corner. People who come with children I think would want a larger tv and have it more central. It would spoil the antiqueness of it a bit but would be appreciated

Jamie was helpful with check in and all of our questions. The suite with 3 bedrooms was best for our family of 5. The decor is mostly antiques and well cared for. We had drinks and dinner at the Spirits Speakeasy on the first floor. Bartender, server and kitchen employees were quite kind. The freshly made pork rinds were still popping. We had wild mushroom chicken meal, Bourbon burger, salmon and rice, BBQ ribs. We ate so quickly that we forgot to take photos.

I love that the hotel is a landmark and that it's still in operation. I also love the fact that it's almost 200 years old! The rooms are huge compared to a lot of hotels I've been in. The staff member that checked us in was amazing and very friendly. I would bring my family here to stay!
