Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lima

I reserved at this property because my children wanted to stay where there was a pool. The on line ad did not mention the pool is closed for resurfacing. I feel I should get a discount or some kind of compensation. The property is very clean and the staff very friendly and professional. The only complaint is the pool situation

Booked this stay for a family pool weekend. Pool was out of service and was not notified until we checked in

We had a two night stay, just me and three children. Both tvs did not work for local channels. We had complimentary streaming of showtime which we don’t really watch. We were able to sign in with our own Netflix streaming service. Room was clean for most part, bathroom door didn’t close easily allowing for us to lock it. Breakfast was so so, no syrup handy, had to wait on coffee, oatmeal was just two thick and gummy. Kids enjoyed the pool and it was clean with plenty of towels

Hotel is in the worst location if you would like a peaceful time in your room while sleeping, working or whatever you're not getting it here. From the train and horn throughout the night to the sound of loud traffic and cars it ain't happening. The beds are less then adequate (hard) and our room the shower didn't drain which left you standing in ankle deep water. The refrigerator was not operating properly cool not cold. They did move us to a new room but little late. At prices at tad higher than other hotels I've stayed at in the area think it would be worth it but for my family it wasn't and we won't be staying at this location again

The property was within walking distance to University of Northwestern Ohio. Fairfield Inn was clean, great breakfast, and great personnel. Being next to the train tracks proved there trains running. I was disappointed on my second night with young kids running up and down the hallway, doors slamming and people arguing at 11 PM.

Stayed two nights - no cleaning or towels changed. Applied new towels from reception and kindly told about problem - answer was: "Oh" and nothing else. Traices of water damage on bathroom ceiling - mold smelled strongly. Pool area was closed. People smoked marohuana on parking lot. Dont recommend for families

I was gear to visit my son who is in college. I booked the hotel due to Continental breakfast and a pool. Because I also had younger kids with on trip. A 4 and 11 year old with. I was disappointed the pool was closed for maintenance. Has I know I would have booked another hotel. Especially with the younger kids wanting to swim. Stayed 3 nights and would have had plenty of time to swim. I just wish website was updated pool was not in use right now. So I could have went elsewhere. Although I will say the staff here was very friendly and I had this hotel booked a year ago and that is why we choose to stay here again. Friendly staff, breakfast and the pool.
