DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh Midtown, NC

Our stay was very easy and comfortable. My husband and I traveled with my mother-in-law, and our three children (16mos, 9 y/o and 12 y/o). TJ at the front desk made our trip that much smoother before we even arrived on property by helping us secure a second room for our kiddos and MIL right across the hall from our room! He checked us in and was very thorough and patient with us! Big thank you to TJ !

Got to the hotel with my family only to find that one of the employees had switched my reservation that was already paid for to someone else name. The person was already in the room she continued to ask if I’m sure it was that location the manager seen it had been switched out and stated they had to accommodate me and my family after the other employee continued to say they were completely booked and no rooms available. They end up accommodating me by taking a room from a service member who was scheduled to check in and said they would worry when he got there. Horrible and shady business felt very uncomfortable. I received the how was your check in text while en route and ignored it thinking it was automated. Whole time someone was getting a free 2 night stay on my expense. Also housekeeping was complimentary by request only but the audacity to leave a gratuity envelope and they didn’t touch the room smh. The tv did not work said no internet access luckily my kids had their iPads. Felt like I was staying at the motel 6.

There for a soccer tournament and the laundry facilities were broken. Should have had fixed when u have kids with dirty uniforms….unacceptable For the breakfast Buffett in the morning though the two women who ran it were amazing

The hotel is clean. The beds were reasonably comfortably. The breakfast was better than expected with hot scrambled eggs along with the usual pastries and cereals. We stayed here because it was close to family.
