Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte Northlake

Quick check in after spending the day at the airport and dealing with delays and a canceled flight. Family of 4 with one special needs young adult. Front desk clerk was awesome! Kind and quick and extended our check out an extra hour which was tremendous after our ordeal. Breakfast personnel was also helpful helping me get food to my kids the next morning by providing me with a sturdy tray to carry our food upstairs and answering all questions!

Staff was friendly upon arrival. Breakfast was adequate. We did have an issue as my adult children were in another room down the hall and found a bug on top of one bed. She took a picture and we informed staff right away and the employee seemed to be matter of fact about it and barely apologized and simply said they would check it out as it happens. When I suggested perhaps it could have come in on a dog she said no dogs were allowed on that floor however we informed her a lady was going up with us and had a little dog so she was put on our floor and she said she would have to speak to the closing staff as they are not to put dogs on the upper floors.

So, I stayed two nights. It was a wonderful stay. Breakfast was good and it is conveniently located near all the appointments I had. However, my ONE COMPLAINT is that my room had a fridge and a microwave. The fridge was broke and had a very bad smell that made the room stink. We let the front desk know and stay said that maintenance would come by at 8am to look at it. They never showed so, we talked to them again about it and the young lady said the guy would be up around 11. My family and I left for two hours and came back the guy still never showed. All the food I bought for the fridge went bad and the fridge was never fixed. Highly pissed off about that. I didn’t ask for anything but the fridge to be fixed so my kids could eat without me spending a lot of money and it couldn’t be done. I’ll think twice before I stay again

I liked the overall presentation and ambiance when I walked in, the courteous and helpful staff, and it was a good place to stay during my week of travel visiting family.

Everything was perfect on the check in. Im about to have breakfast which looks appealing. Definitely I recommend this place. We are 4 adults and 3 toddlers. And the room are big enough for us.

Front Desk Staff was very very pleasant and it felt very nice after a six hour drive with a 8 month old baby. Breakfast was very clean. Our room was great. Had everything we needed. New Hotel and very lovely.
