Plum Point Lodge

We really loved staying here. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Room and yurt were clean and decor was great. Dining options- breakfast buffet with local farm to table options. No lunch options on site. Dinner menu appeared well thought out and I bet it was quite tasty. For those with a simple pallet or children, probably not the best place to eat. Plum Point Lodge really reminds me of a Dirty Dancing resort. What’s missing is the activities. For the price of the stay, I would have loved to have seen simple activities like Salsa or yard games on the front lawn.

We really enjoyed this property. The location was perfect, it was quiet and peaceful but just a short drive to the more crowded area in Watkins Glen. The lake view is beautiful, you can come back from enjoying a day in nature and relax with a nice fire by the lakeside. The property itself was really cute. Our only complaints were that the AC in our room was really really loud, and the floor in the room could’ve been cleaner. Oh and there is no coffee in the room. You have to go to the restaurant after 7 to get coffee, so if you wake early and want coffee, that’s not gonna happen. The location and overall vibe totally outweighed these minor issues. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

Everything was wonderful about this place. The farmhouse suite was spacious w/ a private breakfast nook overlooking the grounds. The food at Sepalta was excellent! The whole family enjoyed their Dinner and stay.

Plum point lodge was a good experience I only have two negative points. Pull out sofa bed had no sheets or blankets. And food although good had nothing to offer a child
