The Blue Hills Lodge was much more than a place to stay for a few days. They had there own Post Office, Beauty Salon, Museum, Restaurant, Event Center, Live Entertainment, Microbrewery (Russian Mule Brewery), Beer Tasting, wonderful grounds, could I add more. I met the owner and staff. Everyone treated me and my small 9 pound dog as a cherish member of the family. rather then a stranger and a guest. It really felt like a home with special extras. The only thing that it lacked was a microwave. This was more that a 5 star place of lodging. Thank you so very must to the staff of the Blue Hills Lodge and the Russian Mule Brewery.

Very cute place. The motel rooms are nice if basic but very clean. A microwave would be great but there is a fridge. We ate at the brewery on site, which was good. The rooms could use more towels although the staff at the brewery on check in did say to come over if we needed them (2 sets for 4 people). We didn’t bother as kids didn’t shower for the one night. The area is nice and we would definitely stay there again.
