The staff is professional and efficient. We love the location on the river in Riverhead. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The kids enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools. Of course, the breakfast was amazing as usual.

We were there over Spring Break and there were many families with kids (like we were). The front desk manager and staff were SO accommodating. There were several on-site events throughout the week (many in partnership w/ the Aquarium next door) that catered to the many kids staying there. Would love to return.

Its a family trip to celebrate my wife's birthday. We love the hotel and the surroundings. The staff is so friendly, and service is superb! They even give us nice gifts like wine and chocolate.... Thanks so much, we definitely will return.

Great place to go for a staycation in Riverhead, Long Island, NY. It has everything you need for you and the kids. The Long Island Aquarium is right next door (literally lol). Some rooms have great water views, so do get those if you must. In the rear of the hotel is the Marina, which has a nice hiking or walking trail on the banks of the river. Town has some nice places to eat and just walk around. If you drive, then there is a lot of things to check out. Plan on staying for atleast 2 days to make the most of all that is here. Overall great place in my opinion

Hotel was really nice and clean. It was right next to the aquarium which is why we chose it and the restaurant next door was great too! The hotel has a complimentary breakfast which was good for my hungry kids! Would stay again!

The room was fresh and clean. The breakfast provided everything to accommodate our varied preferences. The housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. In fact, all staff were welcoming. The common areas were very well kept showing pride in maintaining a high class establishment. We had a wonderful stay with our grandchildren.

We had someone in the room next to ours come in with a crying baby. When I asked the front desk if we could move rooms, they were incredibly cooperative and helpful. The free breakfast was fantastic as well, better than a lot of hotels I've been to.

This is my second visit with my family in this hotel and I feel that since the reservation is 3 parties they give you the same room on the same floor 2 227, they do not give you any benefits for being gold in hotel.com, they treat you bad!

Hyatt Place is our favorite place to stay in Riverhead NY (as a couple or with our grandkids). The location allows us to walk to restaurants, parks and the LI Aquarium. We also are close to all the North Fork has to offer. We love eating at Jerry and the Mermaid - right next door! The two pools and amazing breakfast are important amenities for us when traveling.

Right beside the Aquarium and riverwalk. We were able to bring our fur-baby for a cleaning fee. Decent breakfast buffet.
