For a Hilton hotel - I expected more. No anti skid mats for the shower available. Showe head is placed so people who are bot very tall to rotate it cannot reach it! Very bad design.
Waiting time for the all three elevators at sometimes over 10 minutes!!
This is a Hilton (price wise) hotel?

You cannot fault Hilton hotels. They always keep on top of their hotel appearances. It was clean and spacious, perfect size for our family. No restaurant but plenty on your doorstep to choose from

The location of the hotel was amazing and within walking distance! Our stay was good! One dislike about the hotel is there is NOT a buffet breakfast! The breakfast was you pick a sandwich, fruit and yogurt! In addition, traveling with kids we thought we would be offered the buffet as stated! Unfortunately, this was not an option! Also, kids breakfast includes just cereal, fruit and yogurt! My kids do not eat cereal for breakfast they like scrambled eggs with some type of meat like sausage or bacon! So this was very hard! In general nice hotel just no buffet breakfast!

We came for 4 days in the city with the family and had 2 rooms.
We arrived very early (08:00am) and the staff was generous enough to give us both rooms in a very early check in without additional fees.
The rooms are spacious (in terms of NYC), clean and comfortable.
The staff was more than helpful and friendly.
And the price was way cheaper than other alternatives. Especially in such a central location!
Thank you for a superb stay.

Great property to live at. We loved the convenience of having the use the subway right outside the hotel. The location was amazing!
In terms of the hotel room, it was good too. I would say the that bathrooms gets a bit hot. Not sure if our exhaust wasn’t working or if it’s designed that way. We got the city view and that beautiful at night. I would say that I noticed a “mentos” paper behind the bed so deep cleaning should be done after guests leave. The lamps were also dusty. Other than that we loved that we were greeted with complementary water and great staff. Great stay for families as well

We had a wonderful stay on our 5 day/4 night family vacation in NYC. Our early morning flight got us to the hotel before noon and we were able to check-in early, which was a wonderful and much appreciated surprise. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, the lobby and rooms were impeccably clean, and most surprisingly, we couldn’t hear any outside noise from our room! We were on a lower floor, which we didn’t mind, as it allowed us to exit out of the stairwell versus waiting for the elevator. Even on a low floor we could see the Empire State Building from our room. The best part of the hotel is the location. The 34th St/Harold Sq subway stop is literally right outside the front door. Penn Station is also a short walk. The hotel is walkable to Time Square, Central Park, Hudson Yards, and a ton of other attractions/neighborhoods. We had a room with 2 double beds (for 3 people) and it’s tight, but it’s NYC so don’t expect oversized rooms anywhere. The room is very well equipped with a fridge, microwave, Keurig, dresser space, and a small closet. The shower water pressure was awesome and the A/C worked great even in the August heat. I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn/W 35th St and we will definitely be back.

The hotel is ideally located for access via Penn station (we were coming via train) but if you were flying into Newark, this also connects well to penn station, was a couple of blocks walk.
Also various subway connections to allow speedy access to upper west side or the financial district (and therfore liberty island visit) the beds were good size, comfy and the room was air condition and to around 73°F, which was appreciated as it was a heatwave outside! Staff were helpful throughout, we actually arrived earlier than check in but our room was ready so we were able to drop our bags off and get out exploring. On the day we left we were able to leave luggage in a locked, security guarded room. For no additional charge. We didn’t need this but we were offered to have transport arranged if we needed to as we left. Many floors to the building, we weren’t very high, I had two children with me so I wondered if they allocated lower floors (maybe larger rooms) to the family bookings. There was also ice and water accessible on our floor so that was perfect!

The staff are fantastic. A couple of times we needed assistance and they were right there to help. Very polite and friendly. I would recommend staying there to my friends and family.

Rooms are very small and are probably 70 years old with no upgrades or repairs. Staff, in general, was very rude, dishonest and not helpful at all. I had an issue with one of those electric cabs who wanted to charge me $180 for .03 miles of ride. I asked for help and I was asked to just go in my room and not worry about this, later I saw cops standing outside my room. Some folks may like it but if you are fully in your senses and traveling with family this is a no GO zone.
