Holiday Inn Express & Suites Geneva Finger Lakes, an IHG Hotel

First time I have found dirty sheets in an IHG hotel! Blood on the pillow sheet and fitted sheet. The front desk was very apologetic and immediately offered a new room, which I declined as all of my children were already settled into the room. They gave me two sets of fresh linens to use. Nice hotel, great for kids, just needs better cleaning services. I will also say someone on our floor was smoking the refer inside. NY it is legal to smoke....just not inside....go outside people! Also the sink in the room did not have a faucet. I'm sure that will be fixed soon.

Usually it quite is what i like the most but this last time was a bit loud kids running up and down the hall way

A great hotel for our family vacation.

Helpful staff, nice breakfast, very good ice machine, kids had fun at the pool, and we felt safe. Room was clean.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I assume the hotel was fairly busy while we were there based on the guests I saw at breakfast and the parking, but still...I didn't hear a lot of noise in the halls or have any problems with sufficient breakfast / parking. Breakfast seating may be a bit full/tricky some mornings, but we always managed to get seats. Mr. Steve was in charge of the breakfast buffet most days and he was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Things didn't run out because he kept a close eye. I spoke with him most mornings just to let him know how much my family enjoyed the variety and quality of the breakfast. He really appreciated the feedback and I could tell he took great pride in his work/service. My kids also loved the free fresh baked cookies that were out a few days. (They were there every day, but sometimes gone before we got back for the night.) My kids LOVED the pool area, and we used it nearly every day. I think one day we went twice (morning and evening). The area was very clean and well cared for. I will say the floor, when wet, was VERY slippery. I slowly shuffled my way across the floor between the pooled and hot tub and even then, I almost fell a few times. Not sure what could be done to help that...but something to be mindful of if you're going to the area the 1st time. I would recommend this hotel to others and I hope we have a chance to stay again sometime.

Everything for me and my family are very good.

Manager was professional in dealing with a cleanliness problem however staff did not do anything about children running up and down the hall yelling after 9pm.

All workers were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good! Workers who were bringing food out for that were especially nice too. Definitely will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Ok poop on towels Friday morning. Pool fine Thursday. Friday to many kids. Should have adult time. Kids jumping in the hot tub while we were in it not safe and splashing. Asked kid to stop and of course he didn’t. Parents not watching there kids. The morning we left hot tub was closed.

Very comfortable, clean. Families together for holidays created noise in hallway, and baby crying. Maybe weary travelers don’t need to be in a location with active families.
