Comfort Inn Prospect Park - Brooklyn

Exactly what we needed. Close to Prospect park, which is a wonderful family friendly park. It was close to Brooklyn cruise terminal. Bed and pillow were very good, breakfast too. Room is small but we didn’t spend much time in it so it didn’t bother us too much. We had a king bed which took up most of the room. I definitely would stay again.

Checking in could of went a lot more smoothly. Clerk almost had me pay again but realized their error. Room was tight, even for two people (adult and child). Bathroom was nice and clean, bed was comfortable. I did have a problem working the thermostat. It worked but never saw that brand/model before. Played around with it and got it at a comfortable temperature. Staff was respectful. No goofing or standing around. Checkout was quick. Tried staying another night but they had already booked the room.

How can I begin? I got a room for my son who was visiting- they charged me even though I had paid through Expedia & said I would have to wait until he checked out. I had to threaten them to get $900 back. The complimentary breakfast staff only put out 3 patties at the time - so there was none, ever, the desk clerk practically threw the utensils at my son- the list of complaints is long & they are not worth another moment - They lectured me on what incidentals are- I travel & stay in hotels all over the world- I live in this community & thought this overpriced poorly managed hotel might be an option for family visiting - it is not.

This was our worst experience at an hotel in long time,we want for a night on march 18 because next day I was running New York marathon,I went with my wife and two kids,I wake up change and left the hotel and I was suppose to met my family at the start line but that never happens,when my wife went to the bathroom, it was completely full of water the entire floor because it was a leak queen from the bathroom from the floor upstairs, my wife called the lobby more than 3 times and they never resolve the problem. it was a big issue for her to left the hotel with all the floor with number 2 and two kids. she keep calling because all the floor wash with water and number two and we never have any kind of help, she left the property with two kids and not be able to give them a shower or able to go to the bathroom. I was so disappointed because I’ve not been able to help her. this was our worst experience ever.

My family and I stayed at the hotel on 2 different occasions within a week and our stay was great. The rooms are a bit tight and the breakfast was ok. The staff was amazing and took great care of us and they remebred us when we came back. They accomdated us where they could and privided options for when they couldn't. Its located on a quiet side street and the prices are more than fare for the stay. If you don't have a car it is tricky to get around and have to Uber but that didnt bother us too much. I would definitely recommend and would come back again!

Property was near our family who we came to visit. They gave the double bed room that we had reserved away. Claiming they had "overbooked".Not very helpful for the extra night we had requested when we arrived.

This was one of the worst of our hotel stays as a family.
