We were in town to drop our kiddo off at college. The first night we did not sleep well in two doubles. The staff was accommodating and helped us to find another room close by. We were able to get a great nights sleep before a big day. We were so thankful!

More of a business orientated property. Would not recommend for families as the area is surrounded by commercial buildings and not close to shops or restaurants. Rooms were average, property is massive so you have to walk far to get to your room. They sent us to the wrong room and then asked me to come down and get new keys which was ridiculous. Parking was the worst experience given they have this garage attached to the hotel but not run by the hotel and is old and extremely difficult to park your car in the tight spaces, especially if you have an SUV. The whole property is old and could use a massive update.

Overall we thought this was a great property to stay for a family of 6 and our first trip to NYC. Staff was great and friendly, they provided some great suggestions on what to do in the area. Access to cabs and subway was very easy as well. Will stay again if we return to Brooklyn.

Nick the doorman provided excellent service. We were coming from out of state moving our child for college and he was very very helpful and provided excellent and superb service. He needs to be promoted to train other staff. He made stressful events less anxiety ridden.

The beds in the rooms were super comfortable. The hotel interior was quiet the entire trip. All the staff was great, especially Armando at the pantry! All smiles every morning. The only downfall I found was the pool area didn’t have nonslip tiles and with kids, we had to pay extra close attention. Overall very pleased with this hotel.

We were given a subpar room for the price we paid. Our reserved room became unavailable last minute and we were placed in a room that did not comfortably hold our family. The staff did not accommodate us. The fire alarm also chirped for batteries in the middle of the night.

Booked two suites rooms were not ready although I arrived after the 4 pm check in time. Had a few guests in the room which led to the person next to the room banging on the door to my room screaming shut up. Then proceeded to call in noise complaints which resulted in security guards guarding my suite door and there was no noise. Let’s note it was 7 pm on a Friday night. Horrible experience I spent a lot of money to book the rooms to be treated like children and third class citizens. Will also be filing formal complaints to main headquarters regarding the facility. I’ve always stayed in luxury hotels and never had this kind of experience.

We stay here often due to proximity of family members. The service is very good and housekeeping staff great. The rooms in the newer south tower are okay but the older rooms really show their age. Lamp switches, plug in opportunities, mini fridge all seem 20 years or more outdated. Although not technically Marriott’s fault, I’ve used the budget in their parking garage for convenience and always disastrous service.
