TownePlace Suites by Marriott Clinton

We stay here whenever we come to NJ from PA for one of our favorite nightlife spots. Hotel is always well kept and staff is great. On this one occasion there was a little league game somewhere in town and a ton of kids running around, but the management shut them down pretty quickly and noise was addressed. So all good

Staff is very pleasant but not very helpful. Breakfast is not good at all - very limited choices and quantities. One morning the only hot item was oatmeal! Some days no skim milk. Suite kitchen is missing several items - we have 1 glass, 2 cereal bowls, no dishwaser detergent, toaster does not work. Linens replaced daily but we were never sure what we will get - 3 towels, one wash cloth - next day two towels, 2 wash clothes, no hand towel...when we asked for replacement items desk staff assured us they would bring us items we needed but they did not have extra kitchen utensils or dishware. This is the lowest quality Marriott we have experienced. The weekend is overwhelmed by sport training/team families - very loud and chaotic. We have been traveling for work a lot for the past 7 years so we have seen several Marriott hotels - some better than others - but this one was lacking the most.
