Starlux Hotel

Our family enjoyed our stay this past weekend at the Starlux. With it being off season, the property wasn't set up completely like the palm trees and pool. I booked primarely for the retro vibe and the unique qualities of the hotel. Our room was cute, needed some love as far as upgrades go. When sitting on the couch to watch TV you could see crumbs/dirt under the TV stand. The bathtub spout had a consistent drip and the grout in the bathroom was grungy. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel and would like to see it in its in season prime!

We had a great stay with our family! The hotel is well maintained, clean. The pool and hot tub were great! Plus the hotel includes free breakfast, free renting of bikes, beach gear. We had so much fun!

The staff members are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. There is no smoking on the entire property, so there is no smelliness and no litter. The nearest beach is gorgeous and so close. Rooms are spotless with fun decor, all the amenities, and comfy beds. The location is perfect, The hotel has its own mini golf and there are two ice cream parlors within 50 feet. This is the Disney of Wildwood hotels, from staff to amenities. The pool is beautiful. Only ding is not the hotel's fault: half of the many kids who come here are spoiled rotten and their parents will let them lunge into you while you are carrying hot coffee and jump on top of you in the pool. A lot of the kids are in charge and scream at their parents all day about what they want next. One little boy opened the door for me, which was very sweet, so they aren't all brats. I am a parent and my child never acted like this. Overall, excellent. I must have been there on brat days.

We went there with my children for the 4th of July week end. Check in hours is 3pm but we arrived early Bob was in the front desk he was very helpful and accommodating. He let us use the swimming pool while waiting for our room to be ready. The location of this hotel is excellent it's where you wanna be it's right across the WILDWOODS sign and very close to the beach and the water parks .
