Fairfield Inn By Marriott Concord

It was clean, convenient and had a suite with refrigerator and microwave. We had a family gathering at a nearby restaurant. Afterwards, we came back to our suite and could chat as late as we liked. The staff was all friendly and hard working. We will stay with them again.

Amenities are limited. No housekeeping, you need to ask for towels, pillows, coffee, empty garbage, etc at front desk and make your own bed. Room carpets dirty, our bare feet were black after showering. Old toilet seats, thin towels, AC wall unit rattled and hummed noisily when running, small bathroom sink vanity are, horrible lighting for mirror area. Refrigerator needed defrosted. One small bar of soap for hand washing. Iron wouldn’t produce steam. This place is in desperate need of a renovation. Breakfast items limited, watery eggs, frozen omelets, unknown precooked meat sausage, limited coffee area. We were here for a family wedding. One of our parties discovered their room door lock didn’t function, another found out their reservation was cancelled without their knowledge. Would not stay here again.

Arrival - lots of parking available Check in - went very quickly and very friendly completed in under 5 mins. Room- clean, perfect for what we needed. We were on the front side of the hotel nearest to I-93. I had seen many ppl complain about this. To be honestly as a light sleeper it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. Early evening it was busy and loud we thought it would be a long loud night. but by the time we went to bed it was much quieter out there so not overly bothersome my family slept through the night no issues, me being a light sleeper I woke a few times due to louder vehicles passing but overall slept well. Would potentially ask for backside the next time because of being a light sleeper but if only option was front side I’d still stay here. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Pool - some poeple had mentioned it was very small. Yes it was a smaller pool but at the time we were there we were mostly alone so the pool was actually the perfect size for my 6yo and 2yo to swim around and enjoy in the evening. We were in town for another event so having a pool was a bonus for us. Breakfast - was great lots of options. Check out - was done in less than 30 seconds. Location - ideal close to I-93 close to the downtown Main Street and other shopping options and restaurants. Overall - we would stay here again if ever in the area.
