Yellowstone River Inn & Suites

We stayed two nights on family business, We selected the hotel because the reviews were excellent, but we found the experience was fairly ordinary. The morning staff was friendly, the night clerk was surly. The room was clean and moderately quiet, but the bathroom was tiny, The continental breakfast was OK, but the eating area was cramped. I guess we expected more for our nearly $300 per night charge.

Nice hotel. Clean and moderately updated. After reading reviews was best hotel for the cost. Highly recommend if you don’t want to spend so much and was perfect for family of 5.

We choose to stay here every time we visit. It is very clean, the staff is VERY nice and the pool is a little bit warmer than most which helps when you are an adult that gets in with the kids

Due to unexpected car trouble, we weren't able to stay here as planned. Called the hotel immediately when we realized we were going to have to cancel, front desk said the manager would have to okay an exception to waive the charge and also said that Hotels.com would charge either way. Did an online Chat with Hotels.com (excellent service!) and they said they wouldn't be charging for the room as it wasn't being paid for until check-in, they also called the hotel to see if they would make an exception and waive the charge, talked with the same girl at the front desk who said the manager would have to make that call. Hotels.com checked back when the manager arrived and the manager said they would NOT make an exception and would charge for our room. Very disappointing! Their actions have now determined whether we will choose to book a room here again or not. Since we live in Western Montana, and travel through this way often for business and family, it would have been nice to have a more positive experience. For a minimal 1 night charge that they could have easily worked with us on, they have now lost any future bookings. They lose in the long run. And so with that experience, we highly recommend the Livingston Inn instead, exceptional people to work with!!

The reception was pleasant and the double queen suite room was clean and comfortable although felt a bit cramped for the family of four.

We stayed for one night as part of a 19 day road trip and loved it. Excellent pool, decent breakfast options and comfy beds! We didn’t love that the bathroom sink and mirror were in the main room because I woke the kids up when I was getting ready in the morning. Overall, a nice place! Loved that a convenient coffee spot was across the street, too!

Very comfortable bed, was a perfect stay until the child started screaming next door early in the morning, there was a locked door that adjoined my room. It needs soundproofing.

FD agent was nice and professional. The only thing that I wish was different was the hot tub was down for maintenance. I work at a hotel so I understand these things happen. My kids loved swimming in the pool!
