Positives include good customer service and an amazing view. We had an issue with our rental car, ending our afternoon in Yellowstone early. With nowhere to go and needing to stay near the rental, the front desk staff allowed us to check-in early. We enjoyed sitting on our room's back patio watching several adult female and baby elk across the river grazing. Air conditioner worked very well. Negatives include limited amenities and condition. Room rate reflected location and not room quality or amenities. Room was small, but did appreciate having the sink separate from the bathtub/toilet area. Observed what appeared to be mold or mildew in the bathroom. Refrigerator was not very cold, but was nice to have one along with a microwave.

Conveniently located in the north gate community overlooking yellow stone river. Get a great view of the town/bridge and the mountain. The balcony offers a decent seating area with the view. See deer in the parking lot and the yard- kids love it! Walking distance to dining and shopping. Largely clean with minor places not catered e.g., dirty coffee maker, missing toiletries.

Spent 2 nights here. Check in was with a very pleasant person. The keycard didn't work for our door, and even after getting a new one made it stopped working after using it once. We kept using the back door to get in. There are no safety chains on the 2 doors, so you have to hope the doors are actually locked. You can hear the neighbours upstairs with their walking. You can hear the kids playing in the back, and the lights from the street come right through the door blinds, and brighten up your room at night. The room staff is not observant enough to replenish coffee or cups, so you have to go and ask if you want anything. There is no phone in the room either. Bathroom was clean. Room was okay. Very easy to find, and comfortable enough for our stay!

The Absaroka Lodge was a fantastic place to stay just outside the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. We were very pleased with the excellent and friendly service at check-in/check-out. The room was spotless and sufficiently roomy for a family of four. One of our favorite things was being able to sit on the patio and look out over the mountains. Gorgeous views! Also, it's just a quick walk to downtown area. Couldn't ask for more!

The 5 of us stayed one night in Absaroka Lodge. We could have a rollaway bed for our youngest son as requested. The terrasse outside was very pleasant...with the visit of 2 deers with their little ones as we were having a drink! Not to mention the nice view on the river... Everything was like on the photos, very clean and the kitchen was very convenient to prepare dinner and breakfast. Finally, the situation very near the north entrance of Yellowstone is very convenient.

The women at the front desk was short with me. I was tired and hungry and ready to go to my room. When she put the key on the top of the desk I reached for it and she said just a minute, let me finish. She could have said do you want to know about the wi-fi in the room? Which would not have been less abrupt? The view was beautiful, and is why I picked this hotel, not disappointed there at all and the room were spotless. One room didn't have much of a balcony, disappointing since both rooms cost the same. The people upstairs form my room were noisy. Must have had children jumping and up down. They finally calmed down around 10. I do wish the facility serviced breakfast; this was our only stay that didn't. The town had very few placed open on Sunday and we ended up paying as much for breakfast as we would have for dinner and half of the buffet was empty, just something to think abou.

Room was advertised as a "suite," but was not - it was just a double room with a kitchenette. When i walked back to front desk and pointed this out, receptionist said "yes, I know. I don't know why they advertise it as a suite. Do you want a refund?" Everything in the room was ancient. AC was facing away from the beds so it was very difficult to get the room cooled. Window blinds barely shaded so it was hard to get kids to sleep. Location is excellent and wirh good views but the quality of the room was very poor and it was falsely advertised.
