Holiday Inn Express Kalispell, an IHG Hotel

First off it was very clean!! Awesome for families!

What a fabulous stay we had !! First time here at this hotel and location. Beautiful entrance and very helpful staff ! Room was just what we needed as a family of 5 . Teens loved the evening popcorn & cookies ! And the breakfast was just fantastic for Everyone! The pool and hot tub was good . We had to time or visit right with having sensory kids we had to avoid the busy times as it got really loud . We will definitely be back 💕

Great location. The staff is amazing. The lady in the breakfast area is fantastic. Very efficient and is so good with kids. My mom and I have stayed here for years on our annual mother daughter shopping trip at Easter. First time with the pool area having a dirty floor. This hotel has Easter eggs hidden around the hotel for the kids to find . How special. You won't regret staying at this location.

Nice setup for kids. Games and toys in lobby. Lots of well behaved dogs. Our first floor room was a bit noisy with footfalls overhead…we should have opted for a third floor room instead…but

I would recommend this proprty to anyone who doesnt want to use the hot tub - it doesnt work but they dont tell you, who likes following trails of fruit loops around the corridors and stairs, likes the sound of children running around the hall ways at night, loves screaming kids and coffee at breakfast time and doesnt want cups or coffee replaced in their room after they used them and a balcony thats a sheet of ice. Room door doesnt close fully (can see light round it, and can hear people in room opposite talking. Water pressure is awful and the sink took 10 minutes to drain. Hot Breakfast was 2 types of omelet and two types of round flat sausage, biscuits and gravy - no bacon! or eggs without cheese or onions. Stay was a big dissapointment - dont recommend it and won't return, for the high price it's very poor.

Staff was great. Glad they offered dinner options when it wasn't expected, saved us a trip to find something offsite. My kids loved the giant connect 4 game in the lobby.

Pool was closed--maybe because there were large groups of soccer teams staying?--which sent the kids into the hallways to burn their energy. No hot water for tea at breakfast. Staff was great. Plenty of food and room despite the full house. Love the laminate flooring.

THE THINNEST WALLS IN ALL THE LAND!!!! Constantly hearing kids running back and forth. Could hear alarms going off in the next room at 3:45 am. Kids screaming until 5:30 am when they finally left. Could hear conversations from the floor beneath even!!!! Rented the jacuzzi room, not all of the jets worked. Overall a terrible experience I'm not used to from Holiday Inn Express. I would HIGHLY recommend staying somewhere else!!!!

Pros: Yummy breakfast options, even dinners on some nights of the week. Comfortable beds. Large shower/bath with good water pressure. Plenty of outlets and built in usb ports. Very pet friendly! Cons: Behind the hotel is a busy highway, and it was extremely loud at night. Room temperature was constantly too hot, wall thermostat didn’t seem to do anything to adjust. Room would just randomly get sweltering hot. Not very clean and things in the room were a bit out of repair. ie; behind the sofa bed was all kinds of debris and dust, which you could clearly see when you walked into the room. Window screen was half popped out. The pool was unnervingly filthy with multiple hair balls constantly floating around like jellyfish. Very strong chemical smell, both the kids got skin rashes. Front desk seemed understaffed every single day. Hairdryer smelled like it was on fire every time you used it. TV had horrible sound and picture, no Netflix or smart tv amenities.

Close to all amenities need for young family.
