Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake of the Ozarks

My family of 5 just recently took a quick vacation to Margaritaville and we were so pleased! The beds and room were perfect! Clean and comfortable! The staff was beyond accommodating! We spent most of our time in the pool and the kids had such a blast! We loved eating at Landshark for a quick lunch and didn’t have to drive! Also, I lost a souvenir I had bought and the staff quickly was willing to replace! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great family trip!!

Upon arrival at 4, was told our room was not ready so we could enjoy the amenities, which are open to the public. So after driving hours to get here with a toddler, we had to dig through our suitcases in the non-lit parking garage to find our swimsuits and head down to the pools, which are all accessible by the public aside from the indoor pool, which we couldn’t get into because we didn’t have room keys yet. While checking in, Paige didn’t explain anything about the resort or any of its amenities that we were supposed to take advantage of while we waited for our room to be ready, after check in time. I had to ask for a map. At 5:30, we finally got a text that our room was ready. We went back to the front desk, were handed our keys, and that was literally it. Nobody explained how to get to our rooms, where to go, or anything at all. We walked around the lobby aimlessly, until a janitor finally asked us if we needed help finding something, and helped us to our room. The room was really clean. No microwave which I thought was on the listing, but maybe I read it wrong. The pools were all clean, and well maintained. The indoor water park is NOT included with your stay. For the price you pay, all you seem to get is the room. Everything else seems accessible to the public. We were not offered anything to compensate for the room not being ready, not even a late check out.

We went as a family and had a great trip! The resort was busy, but the staff handled everything very well! we will be back

We have a great stay at margaritaville. The staff was the best part! They were so helpful and accommodating. I had dropped my car keys down the elevator shaft The staff was amazing and retrieved them so quickly! We also had some rowdy neighbors early in the midnight hours and security handled it promptly and respectfully. My kids absolutely love the water park! Having it open until 10:00 p.m super convenient for our late arrival. Would definitely recommend for families!

Great little place for family friendly weekend. Indoor pool is awesome. Water park is smaller than expected but the kids still had a blast

The resort has a lot to offer. Game room, golf, serveral pools, indoor water park, horse back riding, dining, lake. Great place to bring the family

Very kid friendly property with great amenities! However, the rooms need an overhaul. Smelly a/c wasn’t very welcoming to our room. Great staff!

I am conflicted on this hotel as our room was huge which was a great positive for a family of four adults traveling, however, our room door felt like with one shove, someone could break in and it was soo noisy any time our neighbors entered their unit or came up the stairs. The hallways smelled of must and mold and other unmentionables. The bathroom and rooms could use a dusting and deep clean and our bed had random hairs in it. Restaurants onsite are overpriced especially the breakfast option. Overall, the space included in the rooms are nice, but definitely don’t go in with high expectations.
