Savannah House Hotel

Outside of having bedbugs the first night and since booked with Hotel.com could not be refunded. Just offered to switch rooms. They did help me get $10 worth of coins so I didn’t have to go to the bank to use to wash all our items. Several months later still have trauma from that. They thought maybe I brought them with me from the plane since adult bugs. Small blood marks on the sheets tell me otherwise. Never seen or had that before had to goggle what the heck was going on with our skin. Threw away the pillow and blanket we had packed for my daughter. It was awful. Someone pee in the elevator one night. Lots of kids so guessing there. Staff cleaned it up. Staff said they knew several had reported it once we saw someone almost slip and they said gross it is pee. The rest of the trip was uneven minus being itchy. Food was very nice. Very close to the theater next door which we used daily for dance. View outside front door is stunning. If we hadn’t dealt with bed bugs would have loved our stay. Sadly we will not be back because of that. So much money and effort out into that issue and they did nothing to help outside of exchange dollars for coins. It was nicer then the second hotel we switched too afterwards. We had many friends staying and no bed bugs so think it was just that floor maybe since they were all on a different floor and outside of working shower issues said all said it was a lovely hotel.

The staff was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dessert bars were terrific, the kids loved it.

We booked this hotel for a family vacay based on ratings. Tub wouldn't drain while showering quickly filling until you were standing in a foot of water, bathroom faucet water pressure was terrible, barely enough water to brush teeth let alone wash face, toilet barely flushed would almost overflow each use. Ratings mentioned how great the breakfast was. It was all cold and staff said warming equipment wasn't working. The kicker was the ants. When we checked in and got to our room I noticed 2 or 3 ants on one of our suitcases and assumed we picked them up in the parking lot while unloading the car. I didn't think much of it until the next night when we brought 1 food item (in a closed container) into the room and in less than 10 minutes there were ants everywhere, all over of our stuff, ruined our food, etc. It was late so we did our best to kill the ants and went to the front desk first thing the next morning and asked to change rooms, they told us they could change our room but it would be after checkout time and maid service. We went ahead and cleaned our items and vacated the room putting everything back in the car having to put hygiene products in an iced cooler to keep them from melting in the heat. I didn't hear anything for a few hours after checkout about new room so I contacted them and was told they had no vacancy and were rude about it which left us searching for a new hotel last minute in the middle of our trip (Friday of holiday weekend) DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

We arrived late and had 2 rooms reserved. When i booked I should have asked for adjoining rooms, but I didn't. They had our family on 2 different floors but were able to at least get us on the same floor and close to each other. The dessert in the evening were delicious and much appreciated after a long day of playing at the water park.We will be making this our new favorite place to stay in Branson.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms and kids really enjoyed the dessert after swimming in the pool. Would stay again!

The kids had a great time at the pool, they loved the free icecream and cookies!

Beds were very comfortable which is a MUST for me. Overall clean and very good location. Only complaint was I have two kids who were excited for the pool and I wasn’t informed that it was not in service.

Wouid like to have known in advance pool Did not open till 10 in sundar. Part of of party arrived late check in and was not informed bout breakfast time. Therefore they git there late. Doors were still Open and they ask to give kids some yougart abd they refused.

This was our first time staying that this property. It was a pleasant surprise from the southern hospitality received to the wonderful breakfast to the evening surprise dessert bar. This hotel reminded our family of home. Great hotel for family time!!! We will definitely be back!
