Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Munising

Nothing standout to note, but it was comfortable for our family for a night. No elevator, but only two floors & the stairwell was clean and inside (not a typical hotel stairwell).

There was young kids running up and down the halls upstairs and downstairs outside our room all 3 nights we were there. Never could get in the pool due to it being over crowded. Highly suggest QUIET HOURS and adult hours for the pool. It was very disturbing to other guests. Nice hotel. But they need some boundaries to respect all the guests stay.

The staff were excellent, and room was clean upon arrival. Did not have housekeeping at all during our 4 night stay but the front desk associates gladly helped us with trash and towel exchanges. Unfortunately, the ceiling light kept leaking into the bathroom from the room above. Getting dripped on in the middle of the night or coming back to find a puddle on the floor were disconcerting experiences. The hot tub also was very dirty around the edges of the water line when I tried to use it, which was surprising because the rest of the hotel seemed to be kept in clean shape. Continental breakfast was typical and, unless you have food sensitivities, it would be easy to find an option from the sausage, scrambled egg silver dollar omelette things, doughnut holes, muffins, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, cereal, waffle maker, and various juices and milk. Coffee, decaf, tea, and hot cocoa packets were freely available in the lobby all day every day. The hotel location was very convenient for getting to Munising, Pictured Rocks, or AuTrain Bay. I would return to this location despite the leaky ceiling light as it seemed like a fluke and the staff were very responsive about it and even offered we could switch rooms for our last day but by then it would have been a lot of work. We met family a couple days in and were able to all convene at a couch and coffee table in the lobby though there was also a bit of room at tables in the breakfast room which was nice for our large group.

Great hotel at a fair price. Clean room, much bigger than expected, pool area was great and clean, my kids really enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed our stay

This property is a family atmosphere and well cared for! The staff were amazing.

Honestly it was perfect…. Great location, comfy beds.. clean pool and we got breakfast in the morning… could add a meat to ur breakfast but overall great! The only thing that turned me off was they had a young man there working .. maybe 14 or 15 and when I say his attitude was poor, thatbis an understatement. I even tried saying a little something to him to try and get him to realize he was being crappy and he was just plain rude and ooooh if it was my child .. lol… His mom or dad really need to talk to him about that if they are gonna have him working and around customers because it really reflects on the business

I stayed there for two days with my family, we had all the towels used by the first day & even my room was lil messy cuz children are there , but no one came from the house keeping to clean the room & replacing the toiletries & towels , even thou I talked to a clean lady there. Apart from that all was good.

Nice hotel and great for families. Kids loved the pool. Really close to Pictured Rock National Lakeshore and downtown Munising. Very happy with our stay!

Very disappointed that the hot tub was not in use. We always book with a indoor pool and hot tub. The gal was rude and said do you want to cancel. No we booked it in September of 2022 and we are from out of state. Rooms need some TLC, very noisy hotel, not friendly staff, breakfast area small and very crowded. The best thing was the pool was open after 10pm. The downside of that is there were children in the pool at 11pm at night, unattended by an adult. We will look elsewhere next visit.
