Holiday Inn Midland, an IHG Hotel

The staff was great however I think because there is a large pool this is VERY kid friendly. The first night kids were running up and down the hallway and congregating in the hallway talking really loud at 945pm at night. I asked the kids to keep their voices down. They did for about 10minutes but it started back. I tried calling the front desk but no one picked up. Same thing happened the next night. I found out their quiet time starts around 1030p. Staff did pick up the phone and asked the people to stop running down the hallways (cause they could hear it too). The hotel is clean and staff was very nice. Overall the hotel was great but be aware that if you want a quiet hotel, this might not be for you. But if you have kids, book here cause their indoor pool looks great.

Had a great stay despite the hotel being very full. Great staff, clean room, kids loved the pool. Beds were very soft and unsupportive so I woke with a backache but other than that it was great!

Stay was great, was visiting family and kids loved spending time in the pool.

The hotel was great.... the only issue we had were a few drunk people and a group of kids being very loud late at night. No fault of the hotel.

Friendly service, large 3 queen room to accommodate our grand kids, warm salt water pool!! We’d stay here again!

Staff was kind and prompt, when I checked in I asked for a crib for our baby I forgot ours at home, it was in our room before we got up there. Our room was spotless, and stocked with menus for room service and Information about breakfast. The hotel website is clear and everything that is advertised is up and running. The pool area was clean and staff came around often to tidy and restaurant staff came.around to take orders. I had no complaints at all. The beds were so comfortable, pillows were great, blankets were fluffy and soft. Great products in the bathroom, coffee and Keurig was easy to use.we bad an amazing experience. We will definitely be back! We've stayed here three times this bad been the best so far!! We travel a lot, all hotels should model this one. We had some bad experiences this year. I am so thankful for this good experience finally!!!!!! Other hotels take notes!!!! Thanks Holiday inn Midland. Great job everyone!!!

Everything was good except for having to pay extra for breakfast. If you opt to pay for breakfast ahead of time, keep in mind that it's only for two people and not for everyone in the room. Having a family of six we were on the hook for four more meals which were expensive.

Very clean, family friendly hotel with great restaurant and pool. Close to shopping, movies and food options.

We got room 222 on the second floor. No view out the window due to a banquet hall being right outside. That being said all we heard was the dj they had in there all night long until about midnight. The elevator is extremely slow only 5 floors and we waited about 15 minutes each time we needed to use it. The floor in the pool area is little pebbles bring flip flops or something it will hurt your feet after being in the hot tub for a bit. Hot tub is one of the best I’ve been in. Half inside half outside. Only problem is kids jumping in and out and their stupid parents not doing anything about it. Should be no kids allowed. No breakfast here but they do have a restaurant bar attached so you can order food there. Phone in the room didn’t work.
