Holiday Inn Midland, an IHG Hotel

Could not be more satisfied with our stay. 1) staff was absolutely fantastic, thoughtful and helpful. We asked for a change of rooms, and they came up to us with the new key and help us to the new room with our child. Check in and check out was quick. Staff was always helpful and enthusiastic with any question we had. The hotel itself is older (like the carpet) with other older amenities, the on-site restaurant doesn’t fit the overall ambience of the hotel. Again the staff deserve more credit. Pool is a pleasant area.

Awesome hotel Lovely pool and kid space. Traveled with kids travel team and they had a blast. Loved having food right at the pool. Only small complaint the halls did not smell good.

The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. The only complaint was the shower. Floor was very slippery, especially when soapy. No grab bars, so you better brace yourself with your hand against the wall while turning around, slowly. A lawsuit waiting to happen, for adults or kids.

The staff was great however I think because there is a large pool this is VERY kid friendly. The first night kids were running up and down the hallway and congregating in the hallway talking really loud at 945pm at night. I asked the kids to keep their voices down. They did for about 10minutes but it started back. I tried calling the front desk but no one picked up. Same thing happened the next night. I found out their quiet time starts around 1030p. Staff did pick up the phone and asked the people to stop running down the hallways (cause they could hear it too). The hotel is clean and staff was very nice. Overall the hotel was great but be aware that if you want a quiet hotel, this might not be for you. But if you have kids, book here cause their indoor pool looks great.

Had a great stay despite the hotel being very full. Great staff, clean room, kids loved the pool. Beds were very soft and unsupportive so I woke with a backache but other than that it was great!

Stay was great, was visiting family and kids loved spending time in the pool.

The hotel was great.... the only issue we had were a few drunk people and a group of kids being very loud late at night. No fault of the hotel.

Friendly service, large 3 queen room to accommodate our grand kids, warm salt water pool!! We’d stay here again!

Staff was kind and prompt, when I checked in I asked for a crib for our baby I forgot ours at home, it was in our room before we got up there. Our room was spotless, and stocked with menus for room service and Information about breakfast. The hotel website is clear and everything that is advertised is up and running. The pool area was clean and staff came around often to tidy and restaurant staff came.around to take orders. I had no complaints at all. The beds were so comfortable, pillows were great, blankets were fluffy and soft. Great products in the bathroom, coffee and Keurig was easy to use.we bad an amazing experience. We will definitely be back! We've stayed here three times this bad been the best so far!! We travel a lot, all hotels should model this one. We had some bad experiences this year. I am so thankful for this good experience finally!!!!!! Other hotels take notes!!!! Thanks Holiday inn Midland. Great job everyone!!!
