Fairfield Inn & Suites Flint Fenton

The room looked a bit outdated, and I run hot, so I need to be cold in the room. The air conditioning was turned to its lowest possible temperature (58 degrees) but it, as well as the fan couldn't compete with the hot, September humidity. So imagine my surprise when I fully opened my large, second-floor window to see NO SCREEN in it. It is no big deal for me because I am not a curious child. Luckily, no mosquitos, bats or owls visited us during the night. Believe it or not, the bed was VERY comfortable. And I hate hotel beds! The bathtub's shower head had several settings and was wonderful. The room was clean, the towels were numerous as was the shampoo, body wash and conditioner. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, individually made waffles with maple syrup AND blueberry syrup, pork and turkey patty style sausages, bagels, toast, scones, cereal, etc. It was wonderful. We will go back!

Left only a few hours after checking in and after making multiple complaints to hotel staff about noise coming from room above ours. When leaving at 10:15 pm we noticed adult on edge of pool throwing children up into the air and in to the pool. Out in the parking lot at 10:25 pm there were several groups of young kids running through parking lot yelling and laughing. Place is a zoo and I’m sorry I was upset my family and I had to leave. Beds were very comfortable but dirt on curtains, walls, and behind night stand was filthy. Pool area was pretty decent.

We stay here a few times a year, as it's close to our children's home. Sometimes, it's full and busy; other times, it's relatively quiet. But the staff is always friendly and accommodating and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel.
