Holiday Inn Express & Suites La Vale - Cumberland, an IHG Hotel

Stayed for one night and the hotel felt very clean. Didn't have that strange hotel odor that some places have. The staff was friendly. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We arrived later in the evening, so it was nice that the pool was open till 11pm. I was happy with the room and would stay here again.

Great place to stay and very convenient from Frostburg State University. The only negative I can give is consider offering beef or Turkey-based options for breakfast instead of all pork products. My family is Muslim and the options were very limited. Thank you!!

Was a nice convenient hotel for the area. Close to mall, dining & movies. The bthrm in our rm could've been cleaner & the overhead bthrm light fixture was missing the cover & wires & electrical tape were exposed. Perhaps maintenance forgot to put the cover back on after repairing it. The staff were friendly & helpful. There was only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper in our room at check in and the young girl at the front desk gave us a spare when we asked at the front desk on our way back in from dinner. Unfortunately there was a random young teenager sitting on a blanket in the hall outside our door, skyping/face timing her friend for about 40mins. We have teenagers of our own, and that's precisely why we escaped home for a break from the kids overrunning home, lol. Other than that, the hotel was good and we'd be open to returning again someday. Love the desserts & food next door at Datri's restaraunt.
