This is a wonderful place to stay if you're visiting the french quarter. Just outside of all the noise. In walking distance to everything. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all so very kind and efficient about everything. The breakfast was good also. The courtyard and pool is a great place to relax. My family and I enjoyed our entire stay! Many thanks to all!

The only issue I had was the family smoking weed in the courtyard the first two days that we were there. Had to walk through their cloud of smoke to get to our room. No way management didn’t know this was going on. The area was convenient to the quarter and the courtyard was very quiet and nice.

The property was quiet and generally clean. However, the room I stayed in was dusty and the bathroom needs a little more TLC. The staff were excellent. I would recommend it to family and other guests. I will certainly stay there again.

Very thin walls, children and housekeeping were very loud in the morning. Parking is difficult and cramped.

One night stay for a quick family trip. I got a great rate so wasn’t sure what we would get but everything was great! The employees were all very helpful, double checking parking to help find us a spot and lots of employees keeping breakfast going smoothly. The hotel was clean and quiet (we heard police sirens as we were entering our room, so I was worried staying in the French Quarter might be noisy, but once the door closed the sounds were gone. Breakfast was wonderful and there was a Nescafé espresso machine for hot water and lots of coffee choices. After breakfast, we were able to walk the half mile to Jackson Square, tour a few places and still walk back in time to check out and move the car out of the parking garage before noon check out. Thanks for a great quick stay!

Location was the best as you were in walking distance to everything, but also far enough from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and always had smiles on their faces. The staff also offered to help book our tours which I thought was really great. The complimentary breakfast was awesome and had many options to choose from. The dining area always had tables available as well. Water and coffee are also available all day which is very convenient. The hotel features a bar as well with decently priced drinks. The rooms were very clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. The AC was also cold as needed for the summer humid heat. It was nice to step inside a cold room when returning from your time exploring the city. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are also provided. I will stay here every time I visit NOLA and will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Keep up the great work!

I go to Orleans many times because my kid goes to LSU and I decided to try Best Western this time. I picked Best Western because it was away from Bourbon street and all the noise. I stayed at room 239 and it was horrible. The rooms in the the back of the hotel overlooks the backyard of a party unit complex. People partying and screaming until 4 am. The room AC was old and makes a rattling noise when it was turned on. It was 100 degrees and we had no choice but to leave it on.

I was impressed by the professionalism and attention of the reception, you could feel the pride of the staff in being in the hospitality business, the kind that you do not see elsewhere nowadays. The property is a historic type, with hardwood floors throughout (no carpets!) and lovely details such as the stained glass in dining room. The courtyard and pool area is lovely day and night, a cool respite from the heat. My stay was actually a transfer from Hampton Inn at Convention Center, and we were so relieved to be away from the modern/business type of hotel. The location is great, walking distance to attractions and French Quarter but far enough from the rowdy Bourbon street so very quiet and peaceful. Parents with kids: a nice playground two blocks away at Dauphine street, in addition to the pool, steps from your room door. My daughter had a great time here. The hot selection at breakfast was also lovely, with homely and local feel, not just the usual scramble and link. Upgrades in the air conditioning and bathroom would be great, but I would not pass on this hotel because of that. I would definitely go back to this hotel in my next stop at New Orleans.
