Embassy Suites Kansas City/Olathe

The staff was great! We got into a car accident on our way to our vacation, and our vehicle was not drivable. As a result, we had to alter all of our plans the first day, and head to the hotel, while trying to sort out transportation, etc. The staff worked with us trying to get us into a room as soon as possible, as this was before check in, and they were very helpful! My family really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was wonderful for one night as we drove across country. We arrived around 2 am and were promptly helped which was nice after a very long day. While checking in I was informed that the room we booked was not available but they already comped us a junior suite next to a king suite to remedy the situation. Also, the breakfast was amazing, specifically the omelette made to order. If passing through this area again we will stay here again.

My family of 4 stayed here while in town for a gymnastics competition. The room was clean, and the food was good. We had fun in the pool. The staff was very friendly. I feel like everywhere we wanted to go was only 20-30 minutes away. My only complaint is the pull out bed was terrible. The mattress was so thin. My son chose to just sleep on the couch instead.

My husband, 1 year old and I stayed here for a family weekend trip. We stayed in the King suite which was perfect for us! We were able to have a separate space for ourselves in the living area while our toddler napped and went to bed before us. The hotel was modern, clean and overall exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was great every morning and the 2 free drinks a night were a nice touch! The pool was very warm which was great for our 1 year old and the restaurant was delicious. We loved being 15-20 minutes from attractions like the children’s museum, aquarium and great wolf lodge. Highly recommend this hotel and we look forward to starting again in the future!

The drink tickets for the reception and the free breakfast are both incredible features. Those features and the pool for the kids are what makes this one of our favorite hotels.

Overall, the hotel was great the staff at the front desk when I checked I was very friendly you breakfast was good and the room was clean. Rooms at night were very quiet. A lot of families and sport families. They had a great selection of different foods. Only issue was the WiFi. It would always say it was connected, but there was no Internet connection so we had to use a hotspot from our phone.

When we arrived to checkin after paying in full online weeks in advance, I’m told that the room we were supposed to get is sold out and “we don’t know how you were even able to book it.” I was told that I would be getting adjoining king rooms even though I paid for a double queen suite but that I wouldn’t be charged for the second king room. I said I should get some money back as a single king room does not cost what a double queen suite room costs; I was told no that I was “getting a good deal.” There was no offer for any type of compensation related to their error and I didn’t have any choice as I had driven there from over 3 hours away. The pillows were flat and HORRIBLE. The hotel was clean but way overbooked and there were so many children running all over the hotel making noise and running into people.

We haven’t stayed at an Embassy Suites before. It has been a great experience. Breakfast was legitimately good. Saved our family at least $40 that it would have cost to feed all of us.

Awesome stay!! Beautiful hotel. Great full breakfast included. New equipment in the gym. Definitely will stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, several soccer teams and their entourage booked at the same time. The pool, hot tub, fitness room and even the bar was over run with children. ☹️
